  8. Proton do always come out with a good design although the durability of the car is well known to be very lousy.

The most not tolerable is the after sales services they provided. They are too lousy. They promotes 3 S (Sales, Service and Spare parts) but they neither have the good service for proton car owner or spare parts availability.

The reason I said about this is that I owned a Proton and a Perodua car. If, I would give Perodua service 10/10, Proton is rated 1/10.

To add on, Proton Edar even ignores their customer complaint that they are not responsible by reasoning to thier customer that the car is not sold by them but form other dealers.

If Proton Holdings Berhad need to survive, they need to make sure they do provide better service. It is not just the car who make your sales higher, its the service you are providing. For example, if I bought a digital camera from “Canon”, don’t tell me I can’t go to any Canon service center in the country just because I did not buy from them.

  9. I hope Proton has finally cured the ‘Proton Chicken-Pox’ that usually surfaces after five or six years of usage. It leaves holes here and there in the body, bonnet etc. This disease only seems to affect proton cars(including my wira) even after about 20 years of operations since the first Saga model.
If the persona also gets such peculiar disease, then Proton is doomed.

  10. Not even attractive looking.

  11. should have longer head light…not match with the tail light…..proton should do some changes for every reused item…so it look like brand new persona…if dont…we better call it gen-2 sedan,…

  12. if i buy it just to park in front of my house, it will be OK! if i want to use it for highway ride, or keep it for several years, i just have to forget about it, better try japanese made than proton.

  13. whenever Proton comes up with a new model , it will somewhat look alike it’s predecessor . Eg : Gen2,pesona and this latest one .
    Is this innovation ?
