Infections are walking among us

There were rumours among the medical community that many of the foreign workers who failed the medical examination were given work permits by the authorities to work. By right, according to procedure, those who were diagnosed as unsuitable  have to pack their bags and leave the country immediately. Foreign workers found to have AiDs , Hepatitis B, or Pulmonary TB ,VDs and so on must be certified unfit , according to FOMEMA ‘s standard procedures. But apparently, many of those with these diseases are still walking around, spreading these deadly diseases to innocent people.

Now, we know why. Many of those who failed the medical exam must have paid money to get their permits through certain middle men in cohort with top officers of a certain department, whose head was arrested yesterday by the ACA, and the deputy head today.

This proves one thing. In this Bolehland, rumours are to be believed since it has proven time and again that there is no smoke without fire.

Now you know why there is a resurgence of TB cases. Tuberculosis was at one time so much under controlled that it was very rare to see a case of TB. No longer the case ….. Now every doctor can tell you that TB is again quite common among our population, no thanks to those who take money to close eyes and give permits to those who carry infectious diseases. They are no better than mass murderers, since they are unknowingly killing innocent Malaysians who was unlucky to get infected. These people must be given the severest punishment under the law , if they are proven to be guilty.

if anything, many may think that those who have been caught by ACA are people who had lost favor with certain higher-ups.

A step forward, to be sure, but the real corrupted bigots still roam free. And that step forward will be the last.

I fully agree with you. But then again, as the late Tunku always said, if we are to throw stones at those guilty of adultery, then in no time we would be running out of stones. (or something to that effect).

    Dr Hsu,
Looks like you are now being more vocal and assertive. Well done!!

One of the greatest failure of the BN government has been its compliance and keeping one-eye shut on the influx of illegal immigrants and legalising workers even for coffee shops and hawker stalls. No where in the world is so lax like this inefficient government. The government compromised excessively by allowing the private sector to employ these foreign workers at great social costs and even threatening national security by the sheer numbers. Out populating the police and army combined together: do you believe only 2.5 million are in the country?

How much (hundreds of millions or billions) do these foreign workers send back to their homeland. Only God knows.

    Disgusted Monk

    Dear folo4,

A very astute observation. I hadn’t thought of that and was feeling hopeful and happy that maybe this could be the start of an independent ACA.

Now I’m going to retreat back to sadness again. 🙂

With all these palatial corridor projects in pak lah’ book, he has to cater to CEO need of unlimited supply of cheap labor in order to get them through with huge profit at the end of corporate financial year, so that his own race can become “superior” bumiputra n master of all races, closing another eye while enforcing immigration regulation is very much part of the procedure of umno governance.

Doc!..first and foremost….many thanks for meeting me last evening.
Now we have met face to face and talked for more than two hours….with “true malaysian ” together….we actually could have carried on….much longer…had the coffee house did not close shop.
So glad…three of us…agreed an ALL the political issues..we brought out.
And on this post….my conclusion is that….money can do Malaysia.
Money stolen….cheated…by leaders in the government….bribes accepted by lawyers and police officers…also exposed….so why not doctors?
Who with opportunities to make fast buck..will care for anything….when the minister themselves.. care less….and steal as much as they can. Three of us are baffled and asked ourselves..why like that so.
    We are concerned Malaysians.
Only well educated Malaysians understand the great danger to our society…with such irresponsible doctors.
Yes……opportunities to earn fast money….is the biggest disease…under UMNO and BN….as the ministers do not actually work…but talk hell of alot.

Justin, we have to be more vocal and hope that change will come. I see the ACA’s arrest as a good first step. But PM should let them have a free hand to investigate politicians, ministers, his own relatives, even the former dictator.

Monsterball, thanks for a very pleasant evening of talks and food. Certainly I am charmed by your talks and views. I always thought you are a very wise person and you did not disappoint me last evening. I am sure A True Malaysian enjoyed the evening, food and coffee as much as I did.

Now I know you are not a monster after all….. 🙂

Next give me one more box…and we will have nice dinner or snacks on me…..with your lovely wife…and “true malaysian” included…….plus any more newcomers…all on me.
Thank God…all of you… don’t smoke…and can stand my non stop cigar smoking!!

It’s gonna take a VERY VERY LONG, rapid arrests of corrupted humans by ACA before everyone stop being so skeptical at everything.

One Act still sticks out like a bloody sore thumb: The Official Secrets Act.

Why is that PM so hesistant in letting ACA full authority to go after corrupters? It is very obvious, he is trying to protect some of them, buddy, famly members, loyal supporters from umno. That’s why all the talk from him since 11th election but no walk so far as catching big “fish” is concerned.

    Dr Hsu,

Monsterball has baptised you into Kingdom Come! He is using the F word in your blog!

We all have good reasons to come hard, on those corrupted officials. But if we analyze the present problem , we should trace the Root Cause and the perpetrators who are responsible for this cancer of corruption. I was busy today, but I would like to write a story about the wise turtle and the little fishes, hopefully to-morrow. This will be an allegory for the subject of corruption.

Even the sly fox wanting out from umno since he is receiving none of the contract handed out by PM. He really can not see any point of remaining in the party if there is no goodies for him n family members. ACA should place him at the priority list of investigative target.

Most such predictions on UMNO are usually correct correct correct. That’s why so many bogus fortune tellers are making piles of money from suckers.
But in your case….if you are right…it does not make you that smart……a fortune teller.
Yes….you maybe right…but I am advising you treat this matter with … positive attitudes.

It ‘s alright to use whatever word one can think of, it is call “freedom of expression n opinion”, so Justin need to relax and continue reading, it is not going to pollute your thought with such word in a blog, don’t need to worry. But i do take offensive if vulgar words are spoken in places of worship like temple , church or mosque. In a blog, it is free for all, sometimes there is no better word than F*$& word to describe emotion and feeling.

Ah yes…no foul words in all holy grounds.
Make signs…maybe you can get a way with it…as God maybe good at listening to words spoken….and have no experiences in reading signs.

Inconsistency in our policies have make Malaysia of what is today? At time we need to show the stick for enforcement. Who is make the most of the blunders for this situation? Life really have to move on and overcome this frightening situation.

Enforcement and careless attitude among us make this infections moving among us. We need the bottom-line enforcement to buck up and carried out their duties well. Let work together for a better Malaysia where we can call this motherland our home.
