The country is cracking up

The country is literally cracking up.

MRR2, built at a huge cost of hundred of millions, is cracking  again after a repair which cost tens of millions of dollars..

In Johore, one big lot of drugs captured by the police and kept in police Headquarters went missing. Someone must have cracked open the safest of all places, a storage place in a Police HQ. With this, the drug lords who have been taken into custody would most probably walk free..

A few weeks ago, Immigration’s top 2 officials were arrested for approving visas for  unqualified  foreigners to stay in the country, literally selling our sovereignty.

Any one of these would have shocked any other nation and would have caused a big uproar.

In Malaysia, reaction is rather mild. This is not because Malaysians do not care, but rather it is because we are so  immnue to these sort of happenings. Nothing will surprise us anymore…

Is it any wonder that a recent survey shows that the approval rating of PM, by extension the ruling BN, has gone down?

The night is darkest before dawn, but we are at the darkest moment and dawn is no where to be seen.

That about sums up the sentiments of the people of the streets.

All these do not surprise Malaysians…as biggest fish of all….the ministers….not one is caught and jail yet.
    Yes…those incidents…written by Doc..revealed what actually happen…when one take bribes..even building highways.
They do not care….if the building or highways will collapse….and kill hundreds.
All they want are millions…….and past on to
“Baba” to build the dam buildings or highways….and ‘baba” have no choice….but to use sub-standards materials…cheap labours….to break even and make small profits.
UMNo knows ……next to nothing about management…and waste time.keep defending themselves and party. They never actually work..just attending this or that functions.
Do we pay them….to work..or dress up like actors??
All they know..is blame others..never themselves.
The drug kings are smart blokes….period. Few policemen are millionaires…on this matter….so simple to understand.!! Don’t they have a record….who comes and goes..from jail house?
It’s the odd ones….visiting jail house..and top man..visiting..talking to drug lords…that should be investigated. don’t be surprise…top of the top!!!
Now…..lets hear IGP talk of his forces…and stop wasting time….trying to rope Anwar.
Malaysians….including vast police force are true Malaysians.
Under the disguise to serve the government faithfully…..and with their lives…certain police leaders are actually playing politics.
Do they also protect Malaysians with their lives?
They know their bad reputations is killing the vast majority good policemen..
In UMNO…now a crook is suing a crook ….in UMNO.
Nice to see .. policemen file reports on corrupted ones…taking bribes…amounting to millions.
Malaysians are not surprised…as we know…much much more…are being coverted up….or hoping Malaysians will forget.
The most glaring was…when you-know-who…..took RM1.2 billion.. from our money..to bail out his son.
So clear..downright wrong …yet not one UMNO man talk about it at all.
UMNO thinks Malaysians are fools..cannot understand why.

As a person who was trained in Engineering , the MRR2 fiasco was a big deal to me, and very revealing about the integrity (or lack of) in the key players – contractors, government and also the mentality of JKR / Works Ministry.

The original revelation by Semi-Value that it was a poor design – bear in mind this was a design & build project – WTF !!.
Who checked the design? Who approved the design ? Who supervised the construction ? No heads rolled ? And the TAXPAYER had to pay for the repairs !

And now we find out the hugely expensive repairs were shoddily done.

The whole episode goes against everything I was taught and have practiced for so many years about professional responsibility, competence and ethics.

I still have many reservations about Anwar Ibrahim and his methods, but I can tell you the only way this country can get back on track again is to kick the whole bunch of the existing BN idiots out of power in Putrajaya.

My first visit to this blog. The way things look in Malaysia, everything is cracking up but if we look at the brighter side of things, these may not be so bad. At least faults of these top people in BN are showing up and we have more evidence against them should they lose power when PR takes over.

And if we practise what is practised in China, we sure have to have enough bullets to execute these corrupted officials and their cronies. Just hope PR will take over soon and let us have the biggest ever mass prosecution on these corrupted officials.

    Stay cool!
    Charged..but not found guilty.
Case usually take 6 months or more.
But if within weeks..before by election..sure to be found guilty by pro UMNO judge.
This is also the sign…Anwar is so powerful and popular.
In jail..,or not in jail..he will be PM…..very soon.
Nothing can stop him…unless dead for no reasons….yet there will be dozens of Anwars….reborn…if UMNO is that cruel…and asking for real trouble.
    Anwar is no fool.
He will be much stronger than before.
I don’t think crooked policemen dare to blindfold Anwar and give him a black eye again.
    People’s Power is real!!
Nelson Mendela spent 25 years in jail….and is legend..all over the world.
    Anwar is a tough nut!!
    God Bless Anwar Ibrahim.

I suggest that the component parties in BN leave and join forces with PR.
For far too long they have been treated like dirt instead of an equal partner.
One senior minister even liken his party as a begger party!!
So, it should regain its dignity and leave!
Remaining in the BN will also affect the dignity of the Chinese people!

Moreover there is a ACA corruption report on our two “TOP” men by their subordinates. Yet they chose to ignore it. They way they replied to this report gave the general perceptions to the rakyat. This is a circus of clowns and wild animals who do not seem to understand what they are doing or are in such derangement that they have no clue of what is happening. As onlookers the rakyat is able to see the blunders and cheating done. But when they are performing in the circus these goons seem to be oblivious of everything around them. I just read Malik Imtiaz’s heart rending piece on the state of our country. After fifty years instead of progressing forward, we are backsliding in almost every zone.

Whatever it is we are ranked we are placed at the bottom of every scale that measures our educational system, our economic system and so forth.

It is such a sad state of affairs that we have reached this stage. Where have all the good statesmen gone? Is there a dearth of good people to mind the country?

It is obvious that in the construction of a project of such immense cost like the MRR2, values of responsibility and ethics has been compromised as has been said. Where is their conscience?

Just look at our disgraceful justice system. We are living in a dangerous country during dangerous times. How can our government turned a blind eye to the increase in crime?

We are teetering on the edge of the abyss. We need statesmen not politicians!

I agree with yh. As long as Gerakan remain in BN, it will perceive that UMNO still command support. So, the link must be cut off immediately and a domino effect will follow. Then, it’s the end of UMNO and importantly the corrupt and evil system will be dismantled. Don’t u think that’s what we hope for. There is no point fighting from within, it won’t work. 50 years is more than sufficient to prove it actually won’t work.

No more status quo, please. Change is the only constant.

From there he launch his political network step by step. It is all the same whether UMNO, MCA or Gerakan. So, do you think the system or government created by the same people could be a trustworthy one. Definitely no! Then how could so many intellectual including Dr Hsu still harbour hope to change the system internally.

Gentlemen method won’t win the war in fighting a corrupt system and draconian law. History shown us that all those who succeeded employed tough revolutionary way. Those who still believe in changing from within are destined to be loser and be slaughtered. It is the same as football game, attack is always the best method for defend.

yh and Y C Chai, I have on many occasions inside the party, including national dialogue, national delegates conference, and private meetings with top leaders of Gerakan, asking the leaders to leave BN, for the past 2 years.

I have also written many articles in my blog, as well as Malaysiakini to ask Gerakan to leave BN.

I can leave anytime, but as a person who believe in its ideology of a fair and equitable society, I want the party to leave, and I want to try my level best to do this. I am just a grassroots with no influence as to the decision making process of the party, , but I hope to influence other grassroots to pressure the leadership to do so…Eventually, if most grassroots are for leaving , the leadership would have to follow otherwise they would be thrown out..

Ultimately, if I do not succeed, i will just quit this party and concentrate voicing out in my blogs and through my writings.

There are signs that many grassroots have beginning to see this point. In fact, in the blog VeonStead, one of the young leadersin Penang has openly asked people to support Anwar.

I see we have a role to play to influence Gerakan out of BN, and by leaving BN, we would have made a Change of government easier. Hopefully other component parties then will follow suit. Just wait for a few more months… failing which I will just pack and quit.

Even …if powerful MCA and MIC leave BN..and want to be part of People’s Party…Anwar..Lim Kit Siang and Hadi Awang …are no fools.
Those leaders and their active members are all stained with corruptions acts….co-operating with UMNO..to cheat Malaysians.
Why do People’s Party want to risk…having crooks into group?

    Pariah party with … no guts…no backbones…talk alot..no actions.
Without Mahathir…Gerakan would have been buried long long ago.
So….Gerakan is forever indebted to UMNO BARU….and is the most hypocritical political party….one can join to participate.
I have said enough of this..on above messages.
Yes…now Mahathir resigned…they all can leave..close Gerakan party and join Anwar.
Why don’t they just do that?
But when few are still Gerakan m loyal members….want to work with Lim Eng Guan…to serve Penang people…look at those Gerakan idiots shouting and insulting those poor righteous souls.
Does that not show what Gerakan is.. and who is Lim Kheng Yiak?
Hi…wake up!! Gerakan is Lim Kheng Yiak.
Those still there.. as actve members…are selfish and have no guts.
Most Penang folks love talking politics are by nature….like so…great instigators and sitting on the fence. Just look at Susan Loone….a great political blogger….instigating .. living out of Malaysia….and she comes from Penang!!
Declared herself as an NGO..but keep talking politics….fanning and fanning…and when trouble comes…she will sit in Bangkok..let you idiots…fight it out.
Now…It takes a DAP leader..born in Johore….jailed for no reason…truly a Malaysian……to teach Penang Gerakan….how to stop being a pariah party…and start working for the good of the country…and Penang people..carrying no Anwar balls.

Don’t tell me Gerakan’s inspirations and aspirations are exactly…. like DAP!!
Putting in words.and putting into actions are two different things.
UMNO also declared they are uniting Malaysians.
If they are doing that….they need no keep defending themselves.being accused.
If Gerakan really serve Penang citizens that well for 18 years…they also need not fear loosing Penang in any any election.
Sooooo are majority Penang voters real idiots???

But..good Malaysians do forgive and forget…so monsterball ..on behalf of the million brave Malaysians ……forgive you all la……hahahahahaha
