Feel like giving up?

I received an email containing some pictures from a friend and i find that these pictures remind us how lucky we are.

Most of us are nestled in nice surroundings and cosy dwellings, and we have forgotten how some of our fellow humans are struggling to survive. We forget how lucky we are compared to billions of others who lived below poverty line. We forgot that some of our forefathers had gone through this type of living too.

    Dr

    Yes indeed we are lucky.

1/6 of the pics you posted are, Caucasian vs African communities.

Not all of the unfortunate are act of god, but rather giving up on daily pursue of happiness, to coin the American.

Most of our African friends are in dire strait, because they gave up on their political + well being struggle. Not because there are unlucky. Left it to some greedy ‘Leaders’ to strip them naked.

Yes! We should never give up. Rather have a forum to exchange ideas, than to exchange bullets from a barrel of a gun.

All of us have this sentiments in us when we view such photos, but they don’t seem to stay longer enough to help us make significant change. Does anyone have the formula of how to stay mindful and aware of our good fortune???

We hold such feeling one minute and the very next minute when we see a beggar approaching us we try to avoid him, why?
