daffolils and novice 101. thank you for your kind wishes.

Our thought is like water. It may be a tiny drop, just dripping and dripping, and the effects may not be felt in a short time; but in the long run, the dripping water may even carve out a deep hole in the hardest rock.

So not only I should continue to voice out, but all of you wonderful writers and thinkers , too.

A happy New year to all the minds in as well as out of the blogoshpere.

    Happy 2009!

    Happy Year of the Ox!

I am glad to see old year go.

BTW. Now MCA has a whole team of professionals to form the Integrity Watch Group, to do what Dr Hsu do as one man and in his spare time, too.

Few go fishing where the river is choppy, but that is precisely where the fish are. Keep cranking, perhaps have the courage to dive into whirl pool, to make a difference, a positive one. Otherwise it can be demoralising with all your efforts not being heard and unaccomplished. All the best!

Happy new year to you too Dr Hsu and all your readers.

I had an opportunity to meet A true Malaysian 2 days ago ( thanks to Justin) but unfortunately family obligations prevented me from doing so. I hope he understands.

By the way, Art Harun wrote an interesting and correct piece about UMNO. I used that piece in my blog and used it as a parallel with my friendship with Gerakan members.

    UMNO Has To Change

Sorry Doc for starting the new year on such an antagonistic note!

A very happy 2009…I just wonder how happy can we get or have with all the shit around us. Come March with Najib up there, will there be more shit thrown at us…like father like son or shit hope not another month of May or lallang with gestapo running around. The tempo is picking up slowly and surely with Jerit the last and the beginning of of the worse to come.

Year of the Ox, oh no the Ox will come trampling on us all with the 2 horns -, the police and army and the UiTm graduate would say to protect the innocent but the innocent suffers in silence.

I am lost as to what the real 2009 would be like?

Happy 2009 or a sad one!!!

klm, Romerz, zztop, Meng, ANdy and others,

    Thank you for yourkind wishes.

I have not been writing much last few days as for the past one month, I am in a contemplative mood, thinking verydeeply the direction of the country, my party and my own self.

I have come to a conclusion, which I will make known to my readers and friends in a short while.

I would like to keep voicing out my ‘heretic’views on issues which sometimes look at things from another angle, different from many of my party associates.

This role i think is important, because without looking at things from all angles, we might sometimes do the wrong things and make the wrong decision.

romerz, it is a pity that you have not met A True Malaysian. I had a dinner with him just few days ago, with 3 families getting together and he treated all of us to a very enjoyable dinner.

A real Malaysian… Justin must hav met him by now.

Dr. Hsu, I wish you a very happy, healthy, and enlightened 2009 !!

I agree with your comment on getting a holistic view of all things in order to make the correct decision. To paraphrase Albert Einstein:

“Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”

I look forward to your alternative views on the problems plaguing our country. And, may these lead to better and workable solutions for all. Heck, I expect nothing less from a maverick like you.

    Cheers!

2009 appears to be a tough year, involving considerable difficulty and hardship including severe suffering probably privation for some. Yes, it’s enough for political dealings in 2008. Political leaders just have to put an end to the “show”, especially the newly formed PR team.

Obviously, Malaysians want to see more effective strategies and works for the country, rather than giving pieces of publicitical or political show, which contain no purpose to the development of our country, but nonsense instead.

Both BN and PR are to sit down (hopefully) and work together for the betterment of Malaysia.

Even for those PR state governments, they’re regarded as popular to many, but are also to plan and work for the respective states, particularly on its job opportunities and economic sustainablities. They’re hoped to have stopped talking about SOS (same old stories). Please be reminded SOS have been given “marks” and ” evaluations/ assessments” on 308. PR needs NOT to reinstate or restrore the conditions.

It has reached the required degree of showing event. Let’s see their strategies and means for Malaysians, not for all but at least 5 states. Good Luck!

I agree fully with you. But for a clap to happen, we need both hands. I believe PR is more than willing to do that, but not BN (should be Umno here, as all others are dead walking corpses).

Government and politics should not be treated as the same as what we see now.

Meanwhile, let KT voters give Umno hard knocks on their heads, to bring back their senses, their consciences.

To Dr. Hsu and all, Happy New Year.
