Just imagine, if you are a head of a government department, and one chief just comes in through the revolving door and orders you to implement a project and the next one comes in through the same door 6 hours later and asks you to drop the rpoject, what are you to do?
This is the dilemma faced by civil servants and even the businessmen in the Silver State.
If you are a businessman and wish to invest in a certain project which can only be approved by the Chief, who are you to see? You see one a few hours ago and then a new one comes in through the revolving door, who is the actual boss? One approves your project and the next cancels it, do you still want to invest? Who suffers? The people.

Dr Hsu. The businessmen have no problem. All of them have stop doing business in Perak.
As for the civil servants, they are so biased that they do only one thing. So what ever hardship they have, they deserve it. I have no sympathy for these shameful people.

I cannot reveal what was discussed in CC meeting since I am under oath … But i can only reveal that there were members that are not happy with that position.
I can tell you my position from Day one and that is BN should not have toppled the Perak government (pls refer to my February writings),and that after the 3 frogs jumped, my position is that there should be a dissolution of the Perak Assembly and a fresh state election..
By the way, not all are happy with the minister’s position either. To me, Gerakan should be out of BN, and full stop…
And even if a minister’s position is given to Gerakan ( not my view as my view is we should be independent), ,there are views that perhaps a VP such as Mah SK should take up the post and let the president concentrate on rebuilding the party.
When I ask that Perak go back to the people, it is as clear as crystal about my views on his position as well as the position of Zambry

The Gerkan back door exco position is a tie to the shame and infamy of Perak. Gerakan deputy president Datuk Chang Ko Youn is one who would sell his mother to get a government position. Today, he got it all. See what it will do to him and Gerakan.
As for Koh Tsu Koon. I dont believe for a single minute he will give up the minister position. He salivated for this for so long. He is the invisible man.

What is the use of education when all these powerful ruling big shots have big academic qualifications but bankrupt of wisdom in the head.

I have been following your writings but am quite puzzled why you are still stuck in Gerakan. This is a dead party with a president with no principles. All your leaders care are positions and in return they close their eyes to the mass abuse of all government institutions and the judiciary to prop up UMNO.
To them the country can go to the dogs. All they care for are material wealth. For what? To bring to your graves?
(Your president said prior to the 08′ GE that he would reject being appointed a senator if he lost the elections.)

i believe, a good government need a good party with good common sense.
being in BN, gerakan although with all the good common sense may just warped in with the absurdities…
Gerakan may not feel it is time to pull out, but with nothing to lose and SO MUCH to gain, pulling out is not abandoning, but is finding true self.

I just saw a photo of Chang Ko Youn. Yup. He looks like a crooked political operative all right. Did you noticed his left eye is narrower than his right eye. And his smile sloped to the right. His left side of the face is unbalanced and definitely look evil. His face is what the Chinese would call ” devil and mousey” – a most unauspicious face.
A face that would frighten a baby.

BANDAR IPOH will be in similar situation in Bangkok/Manila/Taipei where massive people demo/unrest took to the street just to send a very very VERY simple massage to the ruler – “dissolve the state assembly”.

I think this is an UMNO trick . Remember the comment made during Zambry’s press conference that UMNO has something up its sleeve. By causing this disturbance, a state of emergency can be declared. And UMNO will rule Perak without the State Assembly. This is the same playbook of Kelantan.
And the people making noise are muslim NGOs – probably controlled by UMNO.

not all muslim NGOs are controlled by Amno. But the report did not mention which ones. I doubt the other NGOs will be stupid enough to do this.
But UMNO would use the ones under its control to start something. The reaction is predictable. BN is just waiting to create an excuse. I have heard talks about this emergency state option.
BTW. Dr Hsu. I saw this in MI …..Hsu, a top leader of Gerakan, a component party of BN.

the article in Malaysian Insider, Worry over state economy as Perak remains in limbo, is actually a write up in Straits Times of Singapore. My blog is read by journalists and some columnists. But I am definitely not a top leader…. i thank the writer for writing that, but in my heart, I am just a ordianry member who happens to be elected to CC and tasked to bring differing views from the rakyat and grassroots to the top leaders, the ….228 and …338 and so on….

My view since 2006 is that Gerakan should opt out of BN and be a independent entity, going back to its ideology of a fair and equal society..

Penang Gerakan president Datuk Dr Teng Hock Nan was today criticised for proposing the Perak state assembly be dissolved as this is felt could cause friction in Barisan Nasional (BN).
“In this situation, he should instead give encouragement and support to BN,” Kubu Gajah assemblyman Datuk Seri Raja Ahmad Zainuddin Raja Omar told Bernama.
He said Teng should also instead focus on efforts to rebuild Gerakan in Penang.

Annoyed. This go back to a previous discussion this at our good doctor (I think) said politicians only recognised position. They think power and hence influence come with position.
As we can see Dr. Hsu opinions are now read and quoted by the media, especially after the “Boss” article. Dr. Hsu is now considered an opinion leader. His circle of influence is significant. ( 🙂 )
This Raja Ahmad is a narrow minded political hack. I dont think he can understand this. I hope Dr. Hsu will stay below the radar of these people, so that he can continue to lead the opinion setters.

Let get the answer in the next GE from the people. Let the one who have the numbers to carry out their policies for the betterment of Perakians. Perakians too knew PR have their weakness. Even their own admitted that they don’t dream to rule Perak.
Perakians should respect the wisdom of the Sultan. He have been careful with the support gained by BN before he make the decision. How can a minority ask the majority to disolve the assembly? Logic don’t come here. Who is at fault in the first place? You know the answer. Let move on
