Please leave no stones unturned

What a shock!

A witness called up by MACC fell to his death while still under the custody of the authority.!

A DAP exco’s secretary, whom the MACC boss said was released from questioning at the unholy hour of 3.45 am, was discovered dead on the roof of an adjacent building at 1.30pm today, apparently falling from 14th Floor of the MACC building.

There are lot of unanswered questions in this case, and I hope that the authority would leave no stones unturned to uncover what has really happened.

It was not logical that after finished being questioned  at the unholy hour of 3.45 am, a person would still want to be at the place of his detention , given that his car was at the car park. Under normal circumstances, he would have immediately left the building and go home.

It was also puzzling why he needed to hang around the place , as suggested by the MACC boss, after finishing questioning.  Further more , he was supposed to get his marriage registered the next day, and logic would have it that anyone going to get his marriage registered would rush home to rest instead of hanging around a place where he would loath to be.

As to suggestion that he jumped himself, it would be even more ludicrous. Why should someone going to get married jump to his death?

SInce he was under the custody of MACC and died in MACC’s custody (He has not left MACC yet), MACC would have to give a satisfactory answer not only to the family of the deceased, but to the public at large.

If Malaysia prides itself to be a civilised country, this death must be thoroughly investigated, and there must be full transparency and accountability in the investigation of this death.

……………………………………

My condolence to the family and I am sure that all Malaysians  share their grief to see a senseless death happening like this!

In a country with an accountable govt, the head of the agency would resign. The people involved suspended immediately. The minister would resign. Look at what happened here. They just warn people not to point finger at the agency. pfui!

sorry to use the word. But this put the nail in the coffin.

Released at 3.45am? Why must MACC functioned like a Gestapo concentration camp interrogating a person who is not even a suspect at the wee hours of the morning.

Malaysians must put a stop to all these nonsense. It is NOT acceptable in a civil society when authorities can do what they like Nazis.

There must be adequate rules and governing laws to stop the anarchy of power abuse.

I hope all Malaysians will remember this episode and as an GENERAL ELECTION PLATFORM at the next polls.

On this issue alone, the BN should be thrown out. Why must the MACC acting on a “report lodge” without assuring the public the credibility of the people behind the complaint lodge. Who lodged? Was it with political motives?

With the PKFZ, the cows and cars agency takes its sweet time. Any complaints against the Pakatan, it is reacted with lightning speed.

Yes, something stinks and it is not the fish. The MACC claims he was not a suspect but deemed him guilty enough to be interogated till 345am. Are there no rules against these extreme treatment? A person is presumed innocent until proven guilty and the MACC should do some real investigation on cases instead of implementing Gestapo tactics against innocent victims. The truth must be told. What actually happened? Was there an procedural malfunction? Somebody must pay.

    Kim,

With the Kopi-O Index, KTK probably give them high marks for working over time. And likely balancing view that the matter be best left to another gestapo, the police.

I have issued a statement on my own asking for full accountability and transparency in this case.

Hopefully, coming from somebody in a component party, this will exert more pressure on them to conduct a full investigation.

    Dr Hsu,

Can you believe in your own statement:

There are lot of unanswered questions in this case, and I hope that the authority would leave no stones unturned to uncover what has really happened.

There are also many unanswered questions in other cases and yet they are capable of sweeping them under the carpet. The most questionable case is the Altantuya case, see the outcome.

The next will be Anwar’s sodomy case and you can bet what will be the outcome.

The very truth is not whether Teoh Beng Hock comitted suicide or because of foul play, it is just that under some hidden hand at work that MACC have to go all out to find something to charge any MP or Adun for corruption in order to weaken PR in Selangor before umno can go for the kill.

Why is MACC not interested about the toyol fellow or the PKFZ fiasco which I am sure are more glaring and full of corruptions practice.

As someone mention about Gerakan, of course there will be noises but when umno give warning, all will be quiet as a church mouse. Let us wait for the KPI chief KTK from Gerakan to say his piece about MACC and this case.

Pakatan may have problems but is BN an acceptable alternative? BN is beyond redemption. MACC went on a fishing expedition just to harass or de-stabilize the PR govt in Selangor. What is the basis of their investigation? From malaysiakini:

“We receive general information that there were misappropriation of state rep’s funds. We are not focusing on any specific state rep. We are not sure who is involved. We are visiting certain areas, checking documents, to see if the allegations are true.” – MACC director Shukri.

Does this sound like a fishing expedition? Why are they ignoring Khir Toyo, PKFZ and reports that BN assemblymen spend 90% of their RM 500,000 allowance in 2 months after the G.E.?

    Richard Loh,
What do you expect me to do? I am a small person and the only way i cna do is to voice out and influence some mindsets in the blogosphere.

SOmewhere among my 900 articles are those calling for full investigation of the Mongolian case, PKFZ case, and asking for an independent ICAC, and my full sympathy for Anwar, and asking the authority to drop the so-do-me case.. All these are on records.

What can i do if all these fall on deaf ears? Stop voicing out? Why can’t I believe in my own statements when all these are written in black and white?

Even DAP chief is asking for a full investigation, so what is wrong for me to ask the government to give full accountability and transparency?

At least I voice out even if the calls fall on deaf ears.

What you want me to do? Shoot myself when no one heeds my calls of reforms and transparency? What did you do when all calls fall on deaf ears?Shoot yourself?

Be reasonable. I know all of us are angry. Now what we can do is to exert pressure to make sure that there is a full and fair investigation, and that means all of us must voice out….

    dr,

read RPK’s latest piece for a most plausible answer.

sad to say, your Gerakan Youth has just lodged a report against LGE to this murderous agency. Hope and pray LGE would not suffer the same fate.

We have Kugan’s death at the hands of the police. Now, we have Teo’s death at the hands of the MACC. Next, I guess will be Anwar at the hands of the IRRELEVANT judge. Nobody is safe from these institutions anymore.

    KB,

latest in Msiakini, MACC is investigating all the PR Aduns in Selangor.

MACC is just being used to destabilise the govt. You must know the UMNO chief in Selangor is the same person who plotted the coup in Perak.

Teo, you are an unfortunate victim in the cloak and dagger political game. I wont touch this 1Malaysia man with a ten foot pole.

I just wonder, will MACC have to come to the extent of “killing” him (merely being the secretary of an EXCO member) and laid or throw his corpse nearby the office of MACC, exposing to everyone that MACC is suspicious?

Perhaps will there be a possibility that he has in fact committed some wrongdoings and the MACC had indeed showed him with concrete evidence of the wrongs? And out of the fears of legal consequences (considering the young age, experience and maturity of him), he committed suicide?

I am just opening the possibilities for all of you here and to ponder upon.

Dr Hsu, I guess the best way to go forcing the Govt to repent (if they have any heart to…) is to quit Gerakan and work from outside.

KTK used to say that he joined Gerakan with the Chinese educationalist group then was to join Bn to change Bn from inside….did he changed BN? Yes he did….but changed BN to be murderers and heartless blood sucking morons….and yet he can sit there toi take charge of the KPI matters…what a bloody big JOKE!!!!!

Get out of Gerakan now…it stinks and its beyond any control now….its sinking and its becoming a heartless bloody blood smeared sinking vessel with a ship load of cohorts to all BN murderers….. ENOUGH!!!!

chanjoe. I agree with you. 1Malaysia died yesterday. Performance Now is a hollow word. What is performance without justice. It must be Justice Now.

Tell that KTK to find a hole in the hill and bury himself inside. This KPI and KRA nonsense is useless. It is over. Najib had his 100 days. He did well. But as of yesterday, those things are no longer relevant.

If need to, we should drag this country to the pits and rebuild from there. Economic progress is meaningless without justice and fairness.

Told you so doc…..this is what Gerakan is doing now that they are no longer the Govt of Penang and so much free time to spare that they become so stupid and useless……probably you could use your influence to get those nipple sucking Gerakan youths to wake up???

    1) Call your parents
    2) Call your finacee
    3) Call your siblings
    4) Call your boss
    5) Call your legal people
    6) Plong down at the same place that just gave you hell..

You were dog tired and slept for a while, you wake around noon or after with no security people to wake you, thus rested, you then:
    1) Call your parents
    2) Call your fiancee
    3) Call your siblings
    4) Call your boss
    5) Call your legal people

I’m thinking of any relationship between the death of Koh Keat Lee and Teoh Beng Hock…
    both cases are very weird.

These incident make me remind back the the movie ‘Internal Affair 1’.

Both cases break many people hearts.
