The Illusionists

One of my Friends asked me how I could write 900 posts in less than 3 years, almost averaging a post a day.

I told him that in fact, if I do not have a full time job which can be extremely busy at times, and that if I do not need to look after the needs of my family, I could have written 10 posts a day. There are  in fact enough materials to write 100 posts a day…

There is just simply too much to write and expose in this wonderful land of fairy tales.

One of the fairy tales recently was told by the Sleeping Pilot who once was the most powerful man in this country.

He called for the abolition of ISA. He said that if he was given enough time he would have abolished this Act.

He forgot that he was the most powerful man just slightly more than 100 days ago. And he was in that position since 2003, for almost 6 years. In that 6 years he cannot even abolish the act?? He said he was more occupied with other things…What things can be more important than human rights?

One article which was very well written on this topic is this one appearing in Malaysian Insider by Art Harun:  A tale of the 2 TUNs.

But of course, being the sleepy pilot that he was, most of the time , he was either sleeping or dreaming. And maybe we should not blame him but to blame the  one who anointed this pilot to be his successor. He is none other than the Old Horse.

The old horse recently mentioned that the Chinese are the real masters of this country, because  even after 39 years of NEP, the Chinese still have 50 % and the Bumi only 20 %.( Actually, in my humble opinion, how many % this holds or that holds is not important, but rather everyone must have a decent chance of success in this country, and that the needy must be given help irrespective of their colour).

Perhaps i should quote Art Harun on this (from Malaysian Insider link above):

Let me tell you, dear Tun, that the 39 years of the NEP’s life consisted of a good 22 years of your rule, which amounts to 56.5 per cent of the whole time the NEP was implemented. Thank you for telling us that you have failed Tun, Sir.

I have one question. As far as I know, every corporate exercise involving the public listing of corporations and also involving privatised projects under your famed EPU, at least 30 per cent of the shares (wealth?) must go to the Bumis. If so, how come 20 per cent are now being held by the Bumis? Where have the 10 per cent gone to? They (the Bumis) disposed of them?

You see, you don’t teach people to drive well by giving them Ferraris and expect them to transform themselves into the Schumachers of the world. You have got to teach them how to drive, how to take corners, when to brake, when to change gear and appraise them on things like a smooth weight transfer, the danger of over-steering and under-steering, counter steer and the like. You give them Ferraris and what will they do? They will sell it!

That was what happened Tun. The Chinese get better and better because they were the ones who actually did all the work, the very work which under your policy was dished out to some well-known Bumis, who would make a quick buck by promptly sub-contracting this work to the Chinese. Why are you screaming now?

Speaking of categorisation, Malaysia is not only divided into Bumis and non-Bumis. There were also, under your rule, registered Bumis (registered with the MoF) and non-registered Bumis. Only registered Bumis will be able to share in this so called “corporate wealth” of yours.

To this, I also want to add that maybe the Chinese that the Old Horse referred to are the ones who often had titles of Tan Sris, Datuk in front of their names, and that most of them are the so and so on the Forbes list of richest men in Malaysia..Most of these were of course buddies of the Old Horse and since they were always around the Old Horse, the Old Horse thought all Chinese are as rich as these buddies of his….. Not realsing that  these buddies can be counted with our fingers  and toes perhaps.

Most of the other ‘masters’ slogged for a livings like their Malay counterparts. Some of these masters are 75 years old and yet still had to slog as taxi drivers; other ‘masters’ slogged as hawkers, dvd sellers, handphones sellers and so on… Other masters scored  straight As,  were from poor families and had good curricular activites yet could not even have the chance to further thier education, because as ‘masters’, they were denied aids to study.

The Old Horse has forgotten that this is Malaysia and Malaysia belongs to all Malaysians, whether brown, dark, or yellow…

Malaysians are the masters of their own country but somehow their right of being the masters in their own land have been usurped by those in the mould of the Old Horse, using laws such as the ISA which the sleeping pilot had said that he wanted it to be removed, but  unfortunately he had no time… I do not blame him for the  lack of time, because most of the time during his watch, he had been sleeping.

Very apt description. I can’t stop laughing….You made my day, Dr. Hsu.

No time to even look at the mirror?

Art Harun’s article is a must read. His wit is so wickedly caustic and his admonishments so bitingly deep that my face burns for the 2 Tuns, especially the Tun that used to love horse riding. This horsey Tun should ride off into the sunset instead of writing self incriminating articles.

Politicians or rather ex-politicians frequently say things that suit the context or crowd or their current agenda. They can twist and turn or topsy-turvy accordingly. Please remember a signficant proportion of Malaysians does not “think critically” (sorry, an elitist comment but that’s the truth – blame it on our education system) nor exposed to multiple sources of information other than the mainstream media…so the leader or ex-leader has to say what appeals to the masses or target audience.

Remember I said I would share here my observation on wonderful people of Malaysia? It is time now after reading this Art Harun’s excellent article.

You see, these Umnoputras, ex or present, like to endulge in “shiok sendiri” (my Malay friend taught me the words). Never mind the quality of Dr. or whatsoever titles, so long they got it, they “shiok”. If the title “Tun” spelled as “Toon”, they don’t mind.

The article is a bit “Cheung Hei” (I learned from RPK), I don’t mind reading twice.

We all can be Datuk when we have grand children. Those Datukship cannot be taken away….

Why all these universities have such low world rankings? It is exactly because they give out Doctorates, bachelors degrees and master degrees indiscrimately..

I have heard of Doctorate in Philosophy, Doctorate in Law, Doctorate in Medicine, Doctorate in Science, but Doctorate in Democracy? What is that?

Your article prods my memory that the Old Horse was once kicked out of a certain political party for authoring a book which was banned at that time.

The ban was subsequently lifted and the Old Horse rode into victory lane. He still thinks he is leading the race (pun intended).

Who is behind Malaysian Mirror? any idea?

I was flabbergasted by this article there:

Art Harun aptly pointed out this,

“What happened to the actual Bumiputeras on the buses, in the LRTs, riding bicycles in the kampungs, in the rubber estates, in the sawah bendang in Kedah, who toil under the sun in their small rented perahu in the middle of the sea, who “kais pagi makan pagi and kais petang makan petang”? Compare them to the Tajuddin Ramlis of the world. The Halim Saads of the world. The Amin Shahs of the worlds. The Daims of the world. I wonder out of the meagre 20 per cent of the “corporate wealth” which the Bumis have, how many per cent are held by these people?”

I wonder how both Tuns would see this. As usually, at their convenience, they can just brush aside by saying they don’t read internet or read blogs. Come to think of this, we commoners Malaysian are just the same. Umnoputras and their goons are different from us.

Mind you, I know a Malay brother could not even fill up his van with full tank of petrol each time he goes for refill. He just fill up E (enough), not F (full). Put it this way, these unscrupulous people’s good karma are long overdue….sorry, I need to say that….I am a very angry person since this tragic death of Beng Hock.

The petition now stands at 14059, get more supports please.

At an age when one can use one’s wisdom and experience to be a guiding hand, he is still spitting so much venom stirring hate, mistrust and division among people in this beloved country. This is so very sad.

Dr. Hsu on the subject of the last article. It may not be as bad as put by the other side. From little I heard, the whole story with regard to the death of Teoh will be told. The person responsible will be charged. The charge seemed to have established.

From what I know, crime that happened in a district will have to heard within that jurisdiction. That is the legal stand in the Criminal Procedure Code. Only then it can it be transferred to higher courts. I guess we have not become a lawless society that we would bypass established convention.

I am not sure if RCI can handle criminal case.

Thanks for the link and info. I suspected that it is from MCA.

what you mentioned is very true. In a normal case, a sudden death would have to be investigated by a coroner’s court.
BUt since in this case a RCI is being constituted, it can be made to investigate the cause of death as well.

But in any case, if the govt insists on an inquest and an inquest is to be held, i would think it would be more appropriate for a high court judge to sit as a magistrate…At least he would have more experience.

I shut myself out of the IT circuit for a a day cos’ I was so sick and tired of the happenings.I attended the Teoh memorial yesterday night and I could file any thing cos’ I was angry and fed up too.

As to your question, the web does not belong to Tiong but another Sarawakian close to Ong Tee Keat, who also calls the shots in running the Star publications.

As to the reporter who wrote the piece, which you are annoyed with. Well, the reporter I believe is innocent cos’ the “content” could be supplied by certain “top shots” (individuals) from STAR.

Ong Tee Keat has spun a wide “spider” web more than the former president Ong Ka Ting. Ka Ting was only concern with the Chinese news print MCA controlled. He has a natural bias with the English language, meaning he don’t give a shit to the development of the language but mildly concern on coverage about MCA in Star. Though he probably loves to see his own news or photo there.

But Tee Keat has a more strategic plan in controlling news in Star, extremely “sensitive” to criticism (or should I say, paranoid). Put it this way, he has gotten worse than Ka Ting. So Mirror is a “tangent” vehicle basically to whack UMNO and all those who attack him.

Of course, there are two conditions in Mirror. You can guess what are these anyway.

You flatter me. In fact this post was written in less than 15 minutes . There were a lot of mistakes. I have just gone through it to correct certain mistakes.

Most of the time, since I was typing directly into computer and i was typing so fast, that there were alot of mistakes, typo as well as in grammar. Only when i have more time that i will go through it again.

i thank all of you for bearing with me with all these mistakes and never complaining.

thanks for the update. I heard a lot from grassroots MCA members ( amany of them are hawkers and traders in Pudu Market) and they all complainrd to me about this present Ong. What you have mentioned more or less confirmed the views of may grassroots regarding this person. Most of them told me that the DVD actor is more credible than this one…unfortunately he was caught with his pants down..literally, and this Ong benefited the most in fact from the dvd scandal.

Of course, the DVD actor, after being caught , should have also retired graciously, but he still wants to be somebody and this present Ong has to take steps to kill him off politically… The disciplinary hearing will be interesting, even though it goes against the principle that a person cannot be charged and sentenced twice to the same offence.

The harder he pushed everyone and step in their toes, Ahem No, MCA, etc, the more fun we can watch. Instigate the one caught with his pants down. Very soon, we see spark.

Dr Hsu. As to your comment, there is a criminal element in the case. I think RCI is not suitable for this purpose. Beside the RCI will be turned in a political circus. And the procedure to set one up takes time. And It will miss one of the main objective – that is to get the person responsible. I dont think a senior judge will be involved.

I suspect the script will be to use the poor guy ( anyway he deserves it) to take the brunt of the public anger. To do that they need to set the inquest quickly. That is why it is next week. The RCI cannot be up and running so fast.

Dr Hsu. What is our take on Huan appeal to the CC?

I would prefer to see the cancellation of his suspension. Gerakan need Huan. Why? The following story explain why?

This is an old story from management school. In the old days, people shipped live herring (a kind of fish) in barrels of water. The problem was that when the voyage ended, all the herrings in the barrels would be dead. Then they finally hit on the idea of putting a catfish with each barrel of herrings. The catfish would chase the herring and ate a few. But at the end of the voyage, the herrings would still be alive and healthy. All that running around to escape the catfish kept them healthy throughout the voyage.

Huan is the catfish for Gerakan.

In the latest show of sleazy gamemanship on Teoh’s death, there emerged a new blog with a hidden agenda to discredit DAP, Ronnie Liu and Teoh.

My catch view is that since MACC has confiscated Teoh’s computer and other information from his handphone, there is a conspiracy to “cook” up lies and untruths to justify a verdict on Teoh’s death, away from the truth.

If you can read the blog to discredit Ronnie, you can see very cleary that some of the fund were disbursed out in Jan, Feb and March 2008 under Ronnie and Ronnie was not even an ADUN then….so how can he get such funds? PR came into power only on 3rd march 2008…so you can see all the so called disbursement are fabrications and thyere are smells of certain characters in PR who are in collaboration with charcaters from Bn in dicrediting PR to shake Selangor Gobvt to claim the Govt for Bn just like Perak. It is very clear on this.

First they tried to use the Police and then MACC who tried to get Teoh to be cohorts with them to get PR Excos but that did not work as Teoh is dtermined to uphodl the truth but unfortunately, he had to pay with his life and we should not allow his sacrifice go to waste and we should instead fight all these bullshit.

    Global Depopulation Program Underway?
by Jane Burgermeister – Global Research July 21, 2009

WHO moves forward in secrecy to accomplish forced vaccination and population agenda

The WHO has refused to release the Minutes of a key meeting of an advisory vaccine group – packed with executives from Baxter, Novartis and Sanofi – that recommended compulsory vaccinations in the USA, Europe and other countries against the artificial H1N1 “swine flu” virus this autumn.

In an email this morning, a WHO spokesperson claimed there are no Minutes of the meeting that took place on July 7th in which guidelines on the need for worldwide vaccinations that WH0 adopted this Monday were formulated and in which Baxter and other pharma executives participated.

Under the International Health Regulations, WHO guidelines have a binding character on all of WHO’s 194 signatory countries in the event of a pandemic emergency of the kind anticipated this autumn when the second more lethal wave of the H1N1 virus — which is bioengineered to resemble the Spanish flu virus — emerges.

In short: WHO has the authority to force everyone in those 194 countries to take a vaccine this fall at gunpoint, impose quarantines and restrict travel.

There is verifiable, clear and unambiguous proof that WHO supplied the live bird flu virus to Baxter’s subsidiary in Austria, which was used by Baxter to manufacture 72 kilos of vaccine material in February.

Baxter subsequently sent this material out to 16 labs in four countries under a false label designating the contaminated product as vaccine material, so nearly triggering a global pandemic.

Because Baxter must adhere to strict biosafety level 3 regulations when handling a dangerus virus such as the bird flu virus, the production and distribution of so much pandemic material cannot have been an accident but must have been done by Baxter with criminal intent.

The Austrian police are now investigating after I filed criminal charges in April.

It is increasingly clear that WHO and Baxter are just elements in a much bigger criminal organisation that is moving forward in a synchronised and coordinated way to fulfil the “elite” agenda of global population reduction in the coming months and years while putting in place a global government of which WHO will be an arm.

WHO, a UN agency, appears to play a key role in coordinating the activities of labs, vaccine companies and governments to achieve the goal of population reduction and political and economic take over of North America and Europe:

    – First, WHO gives funds, support and cover to labs such as the CDC to bioprospect for pathogens, bioengineer them to make them more deadly, and also patent them.

    – Second, WHO gives those same deadly bioengineered pathogens to companies such as Baxter in Austria, so that Baxter could use those viruses to deliberately, systematically contaminate vaccine material. If the contamination of the 72 kilos had not been detection on time by a lab technician in the Czech Republic, millions of people would have caught the “bird flu” from the injections.

    – Third, in the event of a pandemic, WHO orders a compulsory vaccines for all 194 countries, following “recommendations” by an advisory vaccine group on which executives of Baxter also sit.

    – Fourth, WHO awards Baxter, Novartis, Sanofi and other companies lucrative contracts to supply those vaccines.

Furthermore, WHO acquires new global authority on an unseen scale in the event of a pandemic.

Under special pandemic plans enacted around the world including the USA, in 2005, national governments are to be dissolved in the event of a pandemic emergency and replaced by special crisis committees, which take charge of the health and security infrastructure of a country, and which are answerable to the WHO and EU in Europe and to the WHO and UN in North America.

If the Model Emergency Health Powers Act is implemented on the instructions of WHI, it will be a criminal offence for Americans to refuse the vaccine. Police are allowed to use deadly force against “criminal” suspects.

Through their control of these special pandemic crisis committees with the power to enact legislation to be set up most countries, the WHO, UN and EU become the de facto government of a large part of the world.

Mass murder and death will also bring economic collapse and disruption, starvation and wars – and these events will lead to a further population reduction.

To sum up: WHO helps create, distribute and then release the deadly pandemic virus, and this pandemic virus allows WHO to assume control of governments in North America and Europe and also order forced vaccination on populations by the very same companies that have distributed and released the deadly viruses in the first place and all under under the pretext of protecting populations from a pandemic they have created.

The corporate mainstream media owned by the same “elite” group which funds WHO is systematically concealing from the general public the nature of the real danger of these H1N1 jabs by withholding from them key information concerning the interrelated activities of this group of organisations for their mutual profit.

As a result, most people still believe that the H1N1 virus is a natural swine flu when even WHO has officially dropped the term “swine” in tactic acknowledgement of its artificial origin.

Most people still believe the vaccine companies can deliver a cure when the vaccine companies are preparing a lethal series of shots containg live attenuated virus, toxic metals and other poisons.

The two-dose H1N1 shots are designed to disable the immune system and then load that system with a live virus in a process that mirrors the one described in two of WHO’s 1972 memoranda where the technical means for turning vaccines into killers is outlined.

The Strecker Memorandum also reveals that WHO has been actively searching for ways to weaken the immune system.

The best protection against the H1N1 virus that has now been released and that will inevtiably become more lethal as it mutates in autumn is colloidal silver and also vitamins to strengthen the immune system, face masks and other such measures.

However, none of the governments in North America or Europe have stocked up on colloidal silver or announced sensible health measures to contain the coming lethal wave.

Instead, there are growing signs, they will use the panic to terrify people into taking the toxic vaccines which are sure to cause injury or damage because of the presence of heavy metals alone.

This mass vaccination will moreover alllow ever more lethal strains to emerge and also provide a cover for a release of bird flu virus or other pathogens.

This is why steps need to be taken now to stop the mass vaccinations anticipated in autumn by taking legal action to block the distribution of vaccines and/or laws allowing govenrments to force people to take vaccinations.

An investigation into this international corporate crime syndicate has to be conducted in every country because it has its tentacles in every country, and to try to initiate this in the USA, I filed charges with the FBI against WHO and the UN among other defendants in June. I included President Obama among the defendants because I believe the time has come to identify and isolate the core members of this international corporate criminal group which has annexed high government office in the USA, and put them in prison once and for all, and there are reports that Obama has direct financial links with Baxter that need to be investigated by law enforcement.

There is evidence the Austrian Health Minister and other officials have been helping Baxter to cover its tracks.

Also, there is clear evidence that elements of the Austrian media are involved in actively spreading lies and misinformation to lull people into a false sense of security concerning Baxter’s manufacture and distribution of pandemic material in Austria this February.

Vital is for individuals and local authorities need to take effective measures to protect against the coming lethal wave of the H1N1 virus to minimise its impact.

To find to out about the charges I have filed so far in German and English in Austria also with the FBI, please check the wakenews website.

I have mentioned earlier a happy ending for both MACC and Najib. With the police investigating the MACC, the police has to satisfy Najib’s need to protect MACC,..why maybe another two years extension for the IGP.

This would be good for Najib as the case against Anwar is on going..with the Police and AG having their hands on Anwar’s throat, while MACC is neutralizing the Pakatan politicians and squeezing them hard.. giving him Najib a free ride to the next GE which is two years away. Meanwhile the umno donkey bloggers will be hammering away in the net.

    Will IGP gets his extension?

Findings of RCI will not be implemented..wayang kulit.

Pakatan MPs esp DAP watch out the smear campaign is not over yet.

There’s simply no level playing field in this bodohland under Umno.

The only alternative is to ensure they and their goons are buried thousand feet down the earth the next GE.

    No other way, believe me.

“…By now it is not a surprise that the rich around the world are getting poorer. Malaysia is no exception: Its 40 wealthiest are worth $36 billion, down from $46 billion a year ago. That loss is largely in line with the 21% drop in the Kuala Lumpur Composite Index and not too bad considering the……….”

“…….The country’s two richest people, Robert Kuok and Ananda Krishnan, both again No. 1 and No. 2, are worth a combined $16 billion and account for 44% of the top 40’s wealth……..”

“…..Vincent Tan is the only Malaysian to have dropped out of the billionaire ranks in the past 12 months, as share prices in his companies declined…..”

“….Among those who dropped out of the ranks are several tycoons who barely missed the cut, including CIMB bank’s Nazir Razak…..”

    16 Mokhzani Mahathir 215 48
    35 Eleena Azlan Shah 110 49

Now that we know where the bulk of the nation’s wealth lies, the balance of the nation’s citizens are not really that wealthy and there are lots of poor and needy people across racial divides that are living in poverty or at borderlines.

So, Mahathir’s claims that the non-Malays holds the wealth of the nation is mischieviously misleading because the majority of the non-Malays are not even within a whisker of the league the few hardcore wealthy individuals enjoys.

Also, it had been reported that between Dr. Mahathir’s 3 sons, they holds around 200 directorships of companies within the country.

Quoting Dr. Hsu : “What things can be more important than human rights?”

If nothing can be more important than human rights, this means that an agreement on human rights must be among the common stands of a political coalition. If the continued existence of the ISA is against human rights, and since BN, effectively UMNO, has made it very clear that the ISA will not be abolished, this means that BN has scant or no regard for human rights.

Parti Gerakan claims to be against the continued existence of the ISA. Therefore how can Gerakan justify it’s continued membership of the BN political coalition knowing full well that BN under UMNO leadership will not abolish the ISA, a law that blatantly infringes on human rights.

We should not be envious of the people on the list. At least those that were not handed a pot of gold.
I know one of the person in the list. He made it due to foresight, hard work and to some extent timing and luck. He was able to create jobs for Malaysians and also use his money to fund other entreprenuers with potential.

He made it to the list without help from the govt. He made most of his money outside the country.

The country need people like him.

Who is envy of these people making “duit haram”? Have you worked for this kind of list people, the one’s spoon fed from TunM to PakLah?

I do. Many malays did and most ended up supporting Pakatan Rakyat.

We do not envy them, the problem started when he was given on platinum plate in 1990 by tansri muhd taib, was cousin to his mother.

That was what we discovered when we worked for him. lots more of discovering….

here we are slaughtering for his projects 24/7 in sweat pain, the whole team do not get even one month bonus or duit raya until project completed. Is this how a multibilion malay treat another malay in the name of Islam?

Each time he came down to Penang with briefcase full cash to handover to umno div heads mostly from the mainland.

I faced this in his company, many of my friends faced the same, we rakyat do not want this kind of business man around if PR were to rule Malaysia federal. Enough.

Sorry Atila. I have not. I cakap sahaja. I spent all my career life with multinationals. Now, I spent my retirement life listening to all these cerita. Maybe catching up with what I missed. 🙂

    Jul 27, 2009 @ 22:15:38

    Yup i understand.

I was at one point with multinationals too until
i took a turn to work w GLCs.

Sometime in 2007, PakLah’s nephew walked
into our companies like “taiko”, he was good at creating juicy slanders (“fitnah” umno culture seeped into GLCs) for our boss to hear & he dictates who will leave & stay….well today he is no longer “taiko” after PakLah stepped down.

As a result, many innocent real hardworking honest Malay professionals lost their job in our company becoz of this “taiko”. These Malays professionals now are mostly in the Mid-East with big time China & European companies.

I have one Malay friend a engineering Consultant now considering offer from Saudi to undertake a USD5Billion project via another country’s company.

Soon one day, there will be no one fit & honest to handle projects in Malaysia except juggling amongst the leftovers “tidak apa attitude”.

Who wants to return to Malaysia after encounter with this “taiko”? The Govt must study why even the Malays go abroad, not just call them back BUT you got “taikos” waiting.

Like that lor klm….many “tidak apa attitude”,
with one thing on their mind, MONEY.

At least we human can speak for ourselves but the animals caged in the Zoo Negara cannot do so. Luckily Dr. Hsu “perihatin” to write about them.

    1malaysia=malaysia serba-serbi boleh.
