Worse than animals!

I followed the CNN reports on the CHilean Earthquake, and was rather sad that to see that not only lootings have occurred in many places, but a lot of places were set on fires by looters after looting.

Army is now being called in to restore order. I can understand some of those who have no choice but to hunt for food for themselves and their family;  but to carry out even electrical items, boxes of nescafes which would not stuff their stomach, and worse, to set fires to shops after lootings is really human behaviour at its worse.

There is an old cartoon which I have received many times through emails, and recently another friend sent it to me again. I think this cartoon depicts human nature of the looters and arsonists very well, and i will post it below here:

How do you think Malaysian will behave in the same condition? I think they will go back to the animal instinct like what we see in Chile.

I recently visited a friend in hospital whom was hit by a car( hit and run case) unconcious with serious injuries. His parents told me that at the scene they cannot find all his belonging ie gold chain, wallet, watch and his handphone. At the scene…..

    Worse than animal again?

You see BN’s shadow when you see the cartoon, where the robber is UMNO man and KTK and OTK are bystanders watching and laughing off the incident. The cartoonist is kind enough not to include them in the sketch but Malaysians can see the invisible them. Don’t run away, Gerakan n MCA b*st*rds ! We will nail u down soon.

So, still insist “morality” not important?

    ‘Watch’ I want, ‘morality’ I don’t want.

‘Bruise’ around neck, I missed it, but photo showed, Pornthip saw it.

I am sure you can see $$, bruise cannot see.

Chinese friend told me, the pathologists go pat-toh, that’s why …….

What is pat-toh? My friend doesn’t want to tell me. Monk or anyone, you know?

Pat-toh makan cili, pathologists rasa pedas

Reminded me of a friend who died leaving his wife with a huge insurance claim. A man befriended the widow with promises of marriage. A year later the man left leaving the woman penniless.

This dreadfully reminds me that Man eventhough living in a modern age, when faced with adversities and disasters, would by nature lose his senses, reasoning and mindfulness, and return to the basic carnal instinct of their cousins of the caves- the law of survival reigns.

Cilipadi, I don’t know your Chinese friend telling you in Hokkien, Cantonese or Hainanese? Sorry, no idea.

But Kim is correct, I am very sure the same senseless looting and burning will take place if the earthquake happens in a Malaysian city.

There are “poltergeists” (worse than animals) everywhere even among politically educated circles, hence you see all the defections to the independent seats. They think we would swallow hook and sinker the word, “independent”.

    Independent bank accounts, likely.

I have a question. How many of you will stay on a sinking ship and let women and children get on the limited space in the lifeboat? This is a test of how one would behave and share resources in time of adversity.
