MCA is going to have another party election. A lot of horse tradings are on behind the scene. Three major factions are trying to find a winning alliances, and some within the factions are trying to find a link with other faction in order to move up the hierrachy, never the interest of the community; that can wait.
As I see it, these new war of the three factions will not lead to peace in the party, contrary to what the PM has hope for.
Too much of distrust and bad blood are there for the winning team to trust the losing teams , and the losing teams may combine their strength ( which will be bigger than the winning team) to create disunity in the functioning of the various states and divisions.
The more intense the party fight, the more intense will be the backstabbing after the event.
Human nature will make sure that the losing ones would be bitter and there will be a lot of non-cooperation after the election. To think that they will close rank and reconcile with one another is too much to hope for.
SO the Top leader will continue to bypass this party to go straight to the chinese community. SOme in the Chinese Business community (one is a Tan Sri) is rumoured to have ask for senatorship and be made an important person…

I believe that there will be some innocent souls in the party who because of the ‘Chinese’ in MCA believe that they should be in the party to fight for the cause of their race. They close their eyes and ears to all criticisms as they are so loyal to their race and party that all negatives are the dirty work of the ‘enemy’. The question is how blind can one be when the leaders are twirling them round their little fingers with their constant change of principles and loyalty to the ‘leadership’. If this cannibalism, eating your own kind, is not the ultimate betrayal of their race I don’t know what is. I pity these MCA members, and to those not so ignorant I wonder how you can continue to walk with heads held high.
And to listen to you talk about your struggle for the race and how you protect the race, you should all be fried like the yau cha kuai.
Have a good fight and continue to stand tall for your race and don’t forget to lie to your children for they can surely see through you. With your ill-gotten gains you would have given them the best education to teach them what is right and what is wrong, a knowledge that all those you claim to represent is privy to thus your continued rejection.

Look at it this way. We should appreciate what the porn dvd actor did. Single handedly, he set MCA on the path of total devastation in the next election. No matter what those Brutus did, they could not achieve a fresh election. He could and he did. The rest is history.

Dr, you have correctly stated the difference between “perception” and “reality”.
Perception (i.e. false) arises if we examine the folowings:
(a) Spinning by political pundits (outsiders not insiders of MCA, newsmen, opinion writers, commentators etc);
(b) Cyber troopers (i.e. aligned to the incumbent under threat) which deliberately through blogs and influence the newspapers (and portal news wed) disseminate “misinformation”. To create suspicions and divisive sentiments against the rival factions;
(c) Proxy propaganda through persons who owe them (i.e. TupDog etc) to fight for them by attacking rivals to TopDog. Typical example, certain prominent people whom TopDog has appointed in running Starship will also do TopDog’s dirty propaganda including a Segi College woman lecturer so called watching the dogs committee. I know even the house Mirror is used to spin and for attacks.
(d) Then a Fatty Phang is also used for attack because he got some tender from a TopDog.
Negative perceptions are generated aplenty against rivals of TopDog. Slangs, insults, nicknames all for justice for TopDog. But yet, despite all these malicious spinning, defamation and outright lies, TopDog is clean, courageous and moral.
Just because the TopDog wants to continue as a dog on top.
Lastly, perception belies the reality. There was no Brutuses, porn star and back stabbing. How do you define in truth and reality, “a porn star” (profession). Think and think, how the spinning works wonder for TopDog. Sure, morality and all that is important. There’s no dispute. But the extreme labels, justified or not? Sure, many don’t deserve to be leaders. But why only condemned these exclusively. You mean, all the BN leaders are angels? I think many need to look into the mirrors and ask themselves, are they clean enough to condemn others. Including TopDog.

Let facts speak for itself. If Ong can and able to pull the party together and given “average” numbers as the most moderate (delegates), how come Top doggie can command only some 20 per cent of their support?
So is the 1,000 more delegates at fault, each and everyone not capable of “right thinking”?
It is because most can see the hypocrisy in him and see him through, as a lousy leader. Most presidents in the past had in 100 days shown some achievements.
But top dog got “nothing” to show. A leader promotes unity besides other qualities. This one, is the world’s LONER. But so many are beside him like vultures, waiting for posts and positions just like the Ti Lian Ker, a perfect shoe-polisher.
The top dog got nothing to reform, you mean ONLY he is capable of reforms. If so, then the party needs his service till eternity, hopefully the top dog can live another 50 years cos no one is more capable then him. Top dog is not the only one capable of letting the grassroot have direct voting. The momentum is there, it is inevitable.
One term for superman, the party will be in tatters, more disunity. Facts are, he is a lousy leader. Looks how he made his appointments, almost all of them around him are Hainanese, it’s like someone say, a Hainanese association.
But more importantly, he spins lies. The truth will come out soon.

Don’t miss the big ultimate picture where WKS is aiming for the president seat in the next or subsequent party election provided MCA is still around. This cunning but smarter young fox can easily outwit LTL (the so called Brutus with lesser brain) but he is a little hurry like Anwar Ibrahim.
Anyway, there are too many factions involved including Ong Brothers and Rotten Fish Head. So, the interference of these forces may create a surprise outcome, who know. We can only regard it as intervention of God or karma at work.
Conclusion is : we Chinese don’t need MCA in whatever circumstances. We need self reliance and insight of the truth.

Like other Malaysiakini readers, I am surprised with the developments in Gerakan. Lots of people are now talking about Gerakan’s Tan Keng Liang.
Not many people in Barisan dare to speak out against the prime minister. The people have been waiting for a long time for a new breed of leaders who are able to speak out on behalf of the people.
It does not necessarily mean that if you are in BN, it means you cannot speak out on behalf of the people. To me, Gerakan has been thrown a new life line by its leaders like Tan Keng Liang.
Even though he may just be Kedah Gerakan’s Youth chief, my research through Google.com shows me that he is more than an ordinary youth leader. It shows me that previously he has (I have only chosen the relevant topics involving BN):
1.Asked the PM to consider views of all BN component before appointing a new deputy prime minister.
2. Asked that the Higher Education Loan Fund allocation not to be restricted and that a ‘universiti rakyat’ (people’s university) be set up.
3. Asked for a full probe into the case of the two missing jet engines
4. Asked for the automatic registration of voters
What I can say is that this guy has got a long history of speaking out in what is right and what is wrong. And he seems to do this irrespective of whether the administration or even the PM is involved.
There is nothing wrong in speaking out against the PM if people in BN want the prime minister and BN to improve. In fact, this speaking out should be encouraged.
If Gerakan continues with these type of leaders, I think there may be a hope for the revival of Gerakan.

Mirror controlled by his appointee Clement Hii, (managing Star Publications) also owns Malaysian Mirror who spins (happening now) support for him in this campaign for presidency. I heard one businessman Tan Sri offered himself to be a senator and offfered to contribute in the cabinet.
If MCA dies , BIg Brother will just go to Chinese Business organisations and offer them direct membership. I suspect there will be many F******, Wi*****, and so on taking up the position.
Do not forget that MCA started as a welfare organisation for the CHinese in the late 40s. So one mCA gone, another one will come in to replace.

Does political pundits, cyber troopers and proxy propaganda solely exists in OTK team and his rival never have any? Is that not part and parcel of politicking? If his rivals do no wrongs, could anyone able to discredit them simply by writing some articles and comments here and there? Don’t forget our media especially the Chinese outlet is actually less bias when report is made on affair concerning Chinese leader.
If only angels are allowed to condemn, then perhaps we need to get loan from god and I suspect even god have insufficient stockpile. And I don’t see what is wrong if one leader is willing to project himself as clean, courage and moral. It is up to the people to judge whether he is one. And it is anytime better than one that makes use of race, religion, money and intimidation.
The so-called fact (myth) regarding to support is the most “interesting” part that happen in our local political scene. Most of the predecessors in the past have no issue to command a huge majority control, the many Tun and SV is best case for reference, do the unity they enjoy bring forward any impressive reward to the people?
Having said that, I had to agree OTK have to take responsible for his dim strategy and adamant personality. No one is to blame but himself if he places too much confidence toward the intelligence of MCA member. Doing the right thing was never the core belief of BN political parties.
OTK must fight back, the greener pasture may not limited to just MCA and BN, however he should do the people a favor by purging germ that do harm to society before he depart.

Race based parties are out. They retard the progress of the nation and all races. Race based parties are structurally flawed because they make themselves irrelevant if equality among the races is achieved. So why would they strive for something which will result in their own demise? They prefer to keep the nation polarized along racial lines.
Yes, Umno will try to reach out directly to Chinese and Indians. But they also have to accommodate their Malay base. So how? 1Malaysia and Perkasa is the answer. But trying to play both sides will result in losing both. You can’t have your cake and eat it too, although it doesn’t stop Umno from trying.

Cilipadi, I read the Pleiadian Mission with great interest, not so much the UFO with Billy Meier, the Swiss farmer in contact with his higher intelligence beings from a planet in the Pleiades.
You brought up some issue interesting about “cheat their wives.”
In the Pleiades, so I read, there is no monogamous marriage like planet earth’s man-made law ruling men can ony marry one wife and faithfully (or cheating) of another.
Yet is Islam, men can marry u to 4 wives, and the word, “cheating” seldom makes any impact even though logically, before the 2nd of 3rd and 4th marriages, the man should be on the courting process (of the 2nd, 3rd or even 4th women), isn’t there cheating before marriage (of the 1st wife).
For the Chinese, unknown numbers have mistresses because they are allowed ony one wife. Hence, the cheating makes a great impact.
But why higher intelligent human beings allow their spiritually developed men to have more than one wives?
For the sake of open discussion. Why is there so much resentment and criticism on Batman for the DVD when likely there are probably (unknown numbers) many other cases of cheating their wives and still holding leadership roles. Ok, I can understand many are not caught, but is getting caught so important, when the “cheating” is there and existed. Truth of cheating is there regardless getting caught or not.
Does it makes a difference if a person get caught cannot be a good leader?

Whoever believes that OTK can unite the different factions and for him to close ranks with them are day dreaming. Based on his role in the PKFZ saga OTK has demonstrated that he is prepared to put sand in the rice bowls of party and coalition colleagues. I don’t know what was his real motive for that and will not speculate because that is not relevant. What is relevant is that he was prepared to poisoned their rice bowls. Is it then possible for a bunch of greedy people to unite and close ranks with such a personality?
Compare him with Chan Kong Choy who was part Team B that was at war with Ling Liong Sik’s Team A. Remember how deep was the chasm between Teams A & B? The division then was clear and distinct. Team A against Team B. They were at each others throats and their conflict was even more severe than the present one where enemy can become friend overnight.
Chan took over as Minister of Transport (MOT) from his erstwhile enemy No.1 Ling in 2003. Shortly after that, in 2004, the SUN newspaper highlighted possible improprieties in the PKFZ. Unlike OTK, Chan closed ranks with the corrupt from his own party. Whether he benefited from the PKFZ scam is not relevant. What is relevant is that he steadfastly denied any possibility of improprieties in the PKFZ and did a fantastic cover-up job. These are the type of politicians that can unite and close ranks after their battle against one another is over. They must have the ‘I scratch your back, and you scratch mine’ attitude and culture. They must be prepared to cover up for each others improprieties against external enemies.
It is just like Koh Tsu Koon during his Penang CM days. Why do you think that UMNO allowed the weak Koh Tsu Koon from a weak Gerakan to remain as Penang CM? Because like Chan, he was prepared to play ball. I believe he was the only CM who did not hold the most important state government portfolio, the one on Land. He passed that to UMNO and by now it is common knowledge that the UMNO character who held the Land Portfolio carried out various land scams for personal benefit. By all accounts Koh personally has never been a corrupt politician, but in the matter of the Penang land scams, he chose to see no evil and hear no evil. He was prepared to close his eyes to improprieties committed by his party and coalition colleagues.
These are the type of politicians that can unite and close ranks after their battles, not the uncompromising OTK type who put sand in colleagues rice bowls. Of course if OTK promised to change his attitude and if his opponents can believe him, then I believe they too can unite and close ranks.
