I am confused!

I did not post anything yesterday. I was having a severe headache after reading that No 2 has openly said that he is Malay first and Malaysian second.

I was having the headache because this comes as a big shock to me, since my subconscious brain was at odd with this statement, and a form of rejection , not unlike organ rejection after a transplant, occurred  inside my brain, trying to rid my storage area inside my brain of this bit/byte of info. But since this byte was from someone authoritative, one part of my brain wanted to accept it and the other part tried to reject it.

This conflict inside my brain caused  by the  NO. 2 statement resulted in the severe headache that I had last night.

All the bits and bytes within my brain’s storage area remind me that all my life, I have been told that I must be a Malaysian first and then my own ethnicity comes second. That is what “satu bangsa , satu negara is about”.

That is what I thought SatuMalaysia (1Malaysia) is about. SO coming from the NO.2 , and coming after hearing so much racist remarks from Perkasa, my brain storage area just could not tolerate it anymore, and I was lucky it did not explode and cause a stroke.

In schools, we were told that we must always think of ourselves as Malaysians. All the TV indoctrination program told us that all of us, Malaysians, must think of ourselves as Malaysians first.

We were always being indoctrinated on this  and I have always accepted this indoctrination that in order to have unity, we must think of ourselves as Malaysians first. I accepted this because it makes sense that as a nation, we must be united and in order to be united, we must seek common grounds. Being Malaysians is the most important common ground.

Now suddenly I am being told that it is alright to place our ethnic group first and Malaysians second. ANd this is coming from the top. What shall we do?

I am confused.

Acceptance of the reality, Dear Dr. – is the first step.

At least, he is honest about it – to him, his political power comes from his race and NOT Malaysians.

Sorry, I am not patriotic like you ( too much discrimination to love the country). In fact, it is clear from daily reporting: in the US, Chinese there are called: Chinese American (which meant American first, Chinese second) BUT in M’sia, Chinese here are called: Malaysian Chinese (which meant Chinese first, Malaysian second).

Dr. Hsu you are confused because of your belief in Gerakan’s ideology. Yesterday the no. 2 and today the no. 1 confirmed that it is race first before citizenship. This all very clear now.

This 1M and the NEM are just propaganda. The core of these ideaa is unity and inclusiveness. The new principle articulated by no.2 and confirmed by no. 1 layout the real truth.

The NEM is not even good for one day. What a short shelf life.

    KTK 1, Gerakan 2 or Gerakan 1, KTK 2 ? I m confused too.

Klm is right, NEM is only good for 1 day (or while u listen or read it).

Chinese alternate media also have the same opinion on Ong Ka Ting’s propaganda : Not valid even for today, its expired yesterday.

    Dr. Hsu,

You may be the doctor, but for your present headache I am the one with the cure. Quite simple really. Gerakan leaves BN and your headache will be gone.

Unfortunately after that you will get another headache, a different one. What to do with Gerakan with mostly useless leaders left to helm the party?

    Dr. Hsu,

I had my headache when I read Ahmad Ismail want Dr. KTK to apologize to him. my headache turned worst when Dr. KTK refuse to give his comment.

But, I was fully recovered when I heard our No 2 has openly said that he is Malay first and Malaysian second. I was immunized with the disease because I start to realize we have to accept this is the rules of game set by our current politic leaders.

However, the next “wave” will come soon, we shall see the “changes” we believe in.

    Dr Hsu,

Our Country is heading towards or is it already in the pits? Statements like that from No. 2 and confirmation from No. 1 surely will speed up the process or could this be the final nail in the coffin?

Nevertheless, I still believe we have enough good people around to take back the Country from the politicians and turn this Country around, but first we need a change in Government, as the present one has shown that it is business as usual.

One of the many groups who are spearheading this change is “Saya Anak Bangsa Malaysia”. SABM, a non-partisan group, believes that we should always think of ourselves as Malaysians although each of us may have our own unique culture, customs and religion.

It is our hope that all Malaysians will take an active interest in politics. Being active in politics does not mean that one has to join a political party but it would be good if everyone of us join a group that fights to bring positive changes to this Country. Each one of us must take responsibility for what has happened to our Country and decide that enough is enough and that we will not tolerate this anymore!

    Saya Anak Bangsa Malaysia

You are confused because you hold these ministers DPM, PM etc in high regards. You assume that they are intelligent, capable, polite, willing to serve the people, righteous, and above all identified themselves as true representatives as Malaysians that irrespective of its racial composition, is one people that these leaders can show-case to the world at large.

But alas, how wrong can you be. Our politicians, irrespective of their official status, are none of the above, but instead are comprised of characters who are corrupt, selfish, egoistic racists and some are down-right pariahs.

Please accept reality and you are confused no more.

Dissect him and put him under a microscope and you won’t trace any “Malay” and do the same to the other 15 ethic races, you will find nothing except biological organs and tissues.

Only a figment of imagination or nightmare do you call yourself any other name, except a human race.

All other names for races are just fictitious. There is no such thing as Malay blood, Chinese blood so on and so forth. Cultural practices and traditions are just passing phenomenon and changing.

So he is just a mirage. Who cares? There is no immortality in race but only in spirit.

    Dr. Hsu,

Unfortunately, your headache might turn to a prolong migraine since your party chief Dr. KTK refused to re-affirm his own stance on 1Malaysia and yet need to be prodded by the Speaker. Adoi! Things are getting comical.

Umno has given up hope to regain back the votes it lost from all Malaysians irrespective of race and religion.

I see this admission of “Malay first, Malaysian second” as their last resort to regain back the Malay supports and Umno is well aware that it cannot depends on MCA, MIC, Gerakan for the votes of the non-Malays. That’s why the birth of Perkasa.

Evil can never win. Umno and BN forgot about that. Dr. Hsu, I know you are ‘confused’ but not your cheap leaders in the party. Impossible for you to save your beloved party. Up to you, Hsu, your choice.

    Dr Hsu,

You should have known better “1 Malaysia” is nothing but rhetorics, a HOAX – to hoodwink the rakyat!

Your headache is because you felt betrayed and thought there was sincerity in Najib’s propaganda machinery. They’ll never change lah, just get rid of them!

I am not confused. What Muhyiddin, and others of his ilk in Umno, have been all along is very clear from all their posturing and past statements. It is good he let slip what is his true belief. Now we know for sure. It is 1Malay in his heart. He should join Ibrahim Ali in Perkasa.

To determine if an animal is a cow in Malaysia, you must see if it moos, eats grass and gives milk. Then do a DNA test just to make sure. Do not listen to its moos alone. That single vocal test is not good enough. Politicians from BN-Umno are masters of disguise and their hypocrisy knows no bounds. You need more than one test to find out which are 1-cows and which
    are non-cows.

Dr Hsu, please rest and recover from your headache. Do not let it spoil your weekend.

The spineless KTK did not even dare to say he is Malaysian first when prodded by LKS.

“This was why Parliament last night saw the pathetic spectacle of the Minister responsible for 1 Malaysia GTP Roadmap, Tan Sri Dr Koh Tsu Koon, twisting and turning when he was repeatedly challenged to declare whether he is “Malaysian first and Chinese second” or “Chinese first and Malaysian second”?

I have no doubt that before Muhyiddin’s declaration on March 31 that he is “Malay first and Malaysian second”, Koh would have no hesitation in saying that he is “Malaysian first and Chinese second” when asked.

However, after Muhyiddin’s declaration, Koh did not even dare to declare that he is “Malaysian first and Chinese second” when repeatedly asked in Parliament last night, for fear of stepping on Muhyiddin’s toes.”

So now from the very top we are hearing that Race supercede Nationality.

So when Lee Chong Wei battle his hearts out in the All England, it is not for Malaysia. It is for the Chinese.

And when M. Magendran and N. Mohanadas reached the of summit of Mount Everest and planted the Jalur Gemilang there, it is also not for Malaysia. It is for the Indians.

We can now kiss goodbye to all the hullaballoo of 1Malaysia.

I wonder what will Malaysia be if all the Chinese in Malaysia were to leave the country.

    Scenario #1
I know Singapore wanted to increase her population to 6~7 million. Now their citizen is around 3.5 million. Let’s presume that Singapore is willing to accommodate the balance 3.5 million from Malaysia. Of course not all can be accepted into Singapore. Some have to find other alternatives.

    Scenario #2
    Migrate somewhere

    Scenario #3
Independent state just like Singapore did in 1965. Few states I can think of,
    – Penang
    – Malacca
    – Sabah & Sarawak

It will be a win win situation for everybody. The Bumi can get rid their so called “thorn” and the chinese and indian can porgress with their full potential. So there will be no one to blame if any of them fall behind.

    its all a mirage, doc.

its just typical sloganeering by Najib about his 1malaysia. afterall, his own party is against it.

why the 2 step release of his NEM? well, the same as his 1Malaysia. his own party is against it.

nobody in his right mind in UMNO will support a meritocratic policy. afterall, who wants to stop the easy money flowing into their pockets.

Here’s my Singaporean friend’s take on this sad episode.
‘ Your 1Malaysia is now missing its SIA which has moved down to Singapore and is flying round the world as the #1 premier airline’

What is left to say? That we still have MAS? 1Malaymas instead of 1Malaysia just does’nt cut it.

UMNO’s motto has always been Untuk Bangsa, Agama dan Negara.

    In that order.

That the country comes 3rd in their priority is no surprise given the policies based on their 50 years rule.

Is there still doubt why we voted for change at 308 ?

Gerakan has but been corrupted by UMNO led policies in BN, that is why despite its egalitarian ideals, it is still rejected.

Like Ibrahim Ali said, Gerakan is but “tin kosong” party. Even Perkasa knows that, basically subcontractor for UMNO.
So, what do you think Perkasa’s masater UMNO knows ?

That Gerakan is but a tool for them to fool the Rakyat.

Furthermore, Gerakan’s own President is indebted to UMNO for his current position.

What do you expect from a party that is subservient to UMNO ?

Does’nt take a genius to figure this out.
