Not all crows are black

RPK wrote a very good article titled:  judaism, Israel and Zionism.

He has written what I wanted to write but more eloquently and more forcefully, something I can never hope to achieve.

When you are against Nazism, you do not label all German people as bad. In fact there were so many Germans who were opposed to Hitler and some plotted to assassinate/overthrow him, only to be executed themselves when their plots were exposed or failed. (National Geography aired a show called 46 ways to kill Hitler soemtimes ago, and there were all based on true stories).

As with RPK, I am against Zionism but I dont hate Jews. I am against the principles of communism but I don’t hate the Russians or the Chinese Chinese. In fact, in the case of China, if they did not go through the years under absolute communist rules , they will not be as progressive now(I know that China is officially still under communist rule but the economic policies now are very much that of a market economy). Sometimes you need to go through certain experience in order to achieve aims that are contrary to those experiences. In fact, although I am against communist principles, I do not dislike communist leaders. I admire Mao, Chou En Lai and Deng, even though they were all communists and just because I am against communist principles,  it does not mean that I must dislike these leaders of communism.

Let us pretend that we are living  in the 30s and 40s.  If we hated Nazism , we should by right support those Germans inside Germany plotting to overthrow Hitler, not by denying them help and condemning them. If we see a black crow, we must not assume that all crows are black; in fact science has proven that white crows do exist and i have posted a link somewhere in this blog, just use my search engine to find the link.

But we Malaysians are too partisan. Just because we are opposed to Zionism, we condemn all the Jews, the good and the bad.  There is no middle ground anymore..

We also almost always practice double standard. We like to set rules but rules are meant for others only, not for those who set them.  This applies to all aspects of our lives. The government, the opposition, the civil service, the car and truck drivers, businessmen and so on.

Not all Jews are bad. Not all Chinese are bad and not all Indians are bad. Not all Malays are bad. In fact most Jews, Chinese , Indians and Malays are good people… Just talk to those on the grounds earning a decent living by working hard, and you will find most of them are simple folks and they are good people. There are of course some within the groups that are bad, but just because a few are bad, you should not condemn the whole group, especially those whitin the group trying to effect change to bring good to the group.

I look forward to a day when we are no longer so partisan, but that day seems so far away and I may not even see that day during my life time.

    Dr Hsu,

Like you, lots of Malaysian are looking forward to that day.

But the question is, can BN/UMNO allow this to take shape. What more with Perkasa “3 x shit’ threats and racist stance with the support of BN/UMNO itself.

How could this happen when the party you chose to serve are perceived and seen as lapdogs of UMNO?

But sadly, Gerakan as a party under the present leadership do not see it fit to move out. Those Gerakan members and supporters can start by leaving the party individually. Without the members and supporters inside the party, the leaders then will only wake up to think seriously of moving out of bn.

    Dr. Hsu

Its very difficult to be non-partisan in Malaysia.

About two months ago, a pro-umno blogger from
Penang bluntly sms me with “fitnah” that i made money in Umno, sold my religion, my soul &
my race then jumped to support Lge.

All becoz I do not support they demonstration
    on 5FEb 2008.

I was labelled in the sms “as-stray” meaning
i have abandoned Islam, i was accused to read “parrot” Quran.

    Now, I can still “sabar”.

The blogger pro-Umno is an Indian Muslim,
disgusting pretending to behave more Islam and Malay than I am.

A Muslim do not “fitnah” another Muslims.
Allahswt has Mercy for this Indian Muslim blogger.

“fitnah” is the game of UMNO.

Why readers in Penang Gerakan’s website cannot comment their articles anymore?

Below the article you can find this :-
“Post Comment Commenting is not available in this section entry”.

    – Very well said Dr. Hsu, I totally agree. I also feel that not all UMNO/ Gerakan members are bad either. I hope those members can be more aggressively stand up to correct their party to trueful path.

If they unable to change their party then they should jump from the sinking ship. The Jew people do not have much choice because they are born there. But, The Gerakan & Umno did not.

It is true to say not all German all Nazis. And it is also true to say not all Nazis are German. But that is not the point. But the fact remains that most German stood in the side line and allow Hitler to carry out his evil deeds. They pretended and practiced see no evil, hear no evil and say no evil.

When the America Army liberated the concentration camps in Germany, Eisenhower took the German town people to the camps and showed them what the Nazis did. They all pretended they did not know.

The issue was not that they were not black. The issue was that they did nothing and pretended nothing happened.

Just like in Gerakan. The members pretend thay can change from inside. They know full well it will not happen. Gerakan will always support the regime that is plundering the nation, betraying its own ideology.

Matthew 7:3-5 (New King James Version)
3 And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? 4 Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me remove the speck from your eye’; and look, a plank is in your own eye? 5 Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.

In one of Jesus more famous metaphors he amusingly tells us to stop being so concerned with other people’s problems until we’ve taken care of our own hugely obvious ones.

Wouldn’t it be nice if all the citizens of this Country view each other as Malaysians instead of Malays, Chineses Indians, etc?

The “Saya Anak Bangsa Malaysia” Initiative has been going round the Country giving forums to try to unite the people as one. It is a long road but one that is acheiveable, maybe not within our lifetime, but it will come as the alternative is unthinkable!

For this to happen, there must be a change in Government, as the present one is beyond redemption.

    Saya Anak Bangsa Malaysia.

Gerakan and for that matter other component parties cannot change policies from inside. We all know and so the only viable way is for Gerakan to move out…

Dr Hsu. You Know ti and I know it. But do Gerakan members know it. If they know it, then what are doing about it. That is why Is say they are flowing with the stream. That was what happened to the German people. They just let events to take place and pretended nothing changed. It was the same with the Japanese people. It was the same with the Serbs.
