Young and Poor

A Merril Lynch’s report , which I picked up at MI site, shows that by year 2030,  Malaysia would still be relatively young and poor.  The per capita income may have risen, but if we take real inflation into consideration, it would not have meant much.

We will still remain in the middle income trap, while the 4 little dragons, Singapore, Hong kOng, Taiwan, and Korea would have gone so far ahead that they will overtake UK and Australia.

Looking at the leadership quality we have in BN and PKR(which will be the dominant party if PR captures the Federal seat), I have doubts tht Malaysia can move away from the corrupt and patronage mentality that is so prevalent that it has already become a culture.  I have always thought that a 2 party system would be good to bring about drastic changes , with perhaps a small third force to play check and balance, but looking at the scenario, and the quality of leadership, i am getting a bit pessimistic about the future.

One consolation: by year 2030, because the population is young, malaysia can send many of them overseas to work as maids or construction workers…Another consolation: many of us in the fifties now would not be here anymore by year 2030, having emigrated to another world….

Very interesting but how many of us can afford t0 migrate. It’s not easy to deroot yourslf from your race and culture.

But Sarawalk is still the best place to retire with the kind weather and exotic food. It’s good that the Sarawak government has strict border contrl so that our local heritage and culture are still preserved.

Talking about western countries, at our nearest neighbour Down Under, there are about 1 million children raised by single parent. Divorce cases around 5000 per year. Binge drinking is a culture to them.
So, it’s just not easy (actually very difficult) for Malaysian to assimilate into their culture unless you are 1st or 2nd generation Australian Malaysian.

So why force yourself when we can have kolo mee, laksa, roti canai, nasi lemak, kopi-o and teh-c at 24/7 at any kopi-tiam.

Life is too short. Trust your God. He will show you the way.

Malaysia is a beautiful country only to be destroyed by BN. Gerakan is part of the evil coalition and its member should be judged on their ostensible act of condoning brutality, CBT, misuse of power, cheating, and most importantly betrayed the trust of the people.

Malaysia don’t need GDP growth. See the way military force were deployed to demolish their farm. It seems farmers are such a dangerous species as far as our govt is concern. They (BN) prefer to leave the land idle than seeing the farmers succeed with own sweat and tears. And what MCA and Gerakan are doing….? Holding dialogue again and blame …. ? Wtf they are doing for the past 50 years other than cheat and cheat and cheat …….

To me, MCA = Najib , cheat, bullshit and sloganeering……
Gerakan = AAB, sleep, elegant silent, and let it settle naturally…………..

VOTE them out come GE13, build them a museum and make KTK and CSL the honorary Kapitans. These 2 idiots only make noise on small and irrelevant issues, what are their stands on PKFZ, ISA, OSA, AUKU, GLCs, …?

And OKC, wait the day Cold Stream farm land issue resurface and people will see your true face and how holy are u with a great super buddhist mask.

What i mean when I said many of us in the fifties would have emigrated to another world, it is just a figurative way of saying that we passed away, not really migrating to another country.

As i have said before, our PeeeeeeeM can have the best economic plan in the whole world. But If you have lazy, racialistic, leechlike and pea brain dickheads like those in Perkasa, Gertak and some NGOs, it will never never ever going to work. I bet my last 1/4 cent on this.
With such a high rate of population increase in future and the way the current bunch of greedy, corrupted and unethical politicians running the government, many many of the youngs may perhaps grown up like those dickheads i mentioned above. Its back to square one. By 2030 we will be lucky if we can match Burma, Loas etc…
    God helps Bolehland.

Haaaaaaaaaaa! Haaa! Good one, Dr. One more thing, make sure after emigrating, don’t get reborn here and end up as a maid or construction worker in your next life for the next miserable 30-40 years.

I would rather once in a while float in the clouds and pee on the cronies.

young and poor. Is not that the description of the Bangladeshi worker or Indon maids? Looks like if the forecast comes true, that will happen to Malaysians in 2030.

Yes WEC, sure we trust our God! It is the unscrupulous and insufferable politicians that we don’t.

So, should Malaysians destroy this country in order to save it? We may not have that opportunity, because the UMNO/BN regime is already doing a fantastic job at it.

So to save this country we must get rid of the UMNO/BN regime 1st.

    Ketuanan Bumiputra,
Don’t be too quick with your mouth.
In case you’re being ignorant, you have no idea how many bumiputras have already migrated, seeing how sad a case our own country has become.

Not everyone can or want to migrate. But many are or are making plans to send their children away. Hopefully in 30 years time there will no longer be ketuanan issues since there will no longer be anyone to tuan over. Wonder if they’ll finally be happy that they got rid of all of us then?

My good friend a Malay has migrated to Republic of China. The govt there recognized his talents a& he is made director at one of the top Super Construction company from China undergoing mega mega projects from China to Chile.

Today, he heads a total of RM15Billion worth of projects worldwide & bidding for project in EU.

What did Umno-putra warloads did to himlast year?

They resented him when there was proposal to
make him lead one “dying” GLC. The idea of PM was to get that “dying” GLC joint venture with China top super construction company.

Umno-putra warloads cannot make this happen, they will loose their money, they cant earn from being directors sit and do nothing w cheques coming to them every month with 5-6 zero behind.

Thus, the expensive lesson is Malaysian gov thinks they solved a problem but what is there any more in Malaysia next 2,5,10,15,20?

    Ketuanan Bumiputra better shut up.
