The armless pianist won the talent show

In AUgust, I posted a youtube video showing Liu Wei an armless pianist using his feet to play piano in the earlier rounds of China Got Talents.

Well, guess who has won that talent show ?

Yes, you guess right. The armless pianist (or foot pianist) Liu Wei won, and deservedly, the winning pisece he played is “You are Beautiful”.

I will post the video below:

I will also post another video here from CHina Got talent. This video shows a guest , none other than the British Got Talents winner few years ago Paul Potts (the mobile phone salesman previously and now a celebrity). In this video , Paul Potts sings a Mandarin song:

Dr. TQ for posting this. Behind his achievement, I am sure without doubt a moving story of Liu Wei fighting against all odds on his handicap. Also reflects the capability of the human spirit and the “will” which can inspire us all (probably not able to achieve what Liu can do). The only thing came to my mind after seeing this, testifies the positive side of the human spirit can soar to great heights and the negative, in politics (i.e.) can also drag human race to the abyss of hell. The bottom line: back to the human choice and the “will” to evolve.

    Monk,
Yes, human capabilities can be quite amazing. Just imagine trying to control your toes, or for right handers trying to write with your left hand…Difficult… But if you use your left hand to write everyday( spend 10minutes a day using left hand to write), you can actually become quite good in writing with left hand. This is my personal experience. I am a right handed, writing with right hand all my life, but a few years back, i tried to learn to use my left hand to write… It took some time, but finally I found that i could write with my left hand too… Maybe not as fast and good as my right, but definitely better than a lot of illiterates trying to write with their hands.

    Dr,

You are an expert on the knowledge: physiological and functioning of the brain which the average person hardly uses 10% of the faculties (correct me if I am wrong). Hence, it is good to do what you did. That’s why, spiritual teachers teach disciples to use the other parts of the brain too for the “inner journey exploring the hidden “talents” of the human spirit. Since “other” dimensions are NOT physical locations which we can travel by public transportation, we have to go within (with help from the brain faculties. Liu Wei like others are “few” individuals in the world that inspires others (I am sure there are many others not discovered) that touches our “inner” selves.

According to spiritual information, his physical handicap (with no arms and hands) will only last in this lifetime as he still has both, in the astral sense. Meaning, only a physical handicap but he will have it in spirit form (next rebirth). Karmic sense.

Perseverance, coupled with natural talent and determination, are what is in Liu Wei. The ingredient of a successful story.

Simply amazing, You are Beautiful, Liu Wei.
