Only himself to blame!

Immediately after the Bersih Rally, I wrote an article “the debacle of mishandling”, which was posted in this blog as well as MalaysianInsider and LKS’s blog. Since then, I have received many calls and sms from friends agreeing with my views.

Even the government has tacitly agreed that it has mishandled the Bersih rally. Recently, a minister in the prime Minister’s department has come out and attributed the mishandling is the cause of the slide in PM’s rating, and he also tacitly blamed the police for the mishandling.

Now, police is an institution under the Home Ministry. The Home minister is a member of the cabinet chaired by the PM. As far as we know, in this country, PM has tremendous say over the various ministries, since he  and only he has the prerogative to appoint ministers from a pool of elected MPs, as well as senators. He is also the person who has the ultimate say in the appointment of AGs, IGPs and all the KSUs and DGs.

So the ultimately responsibility lies with the PM in whatever the police is doing. Of course , as someone who is isolated by people surrounding him, he may not get an accurate picture of the ground sentiments, and he has to make decision  based on feedback by the various people, including his own team of advisers, his ministers, and the police of course.

But after the input from the various sources, he has to evaluate and decide what is best for the country. And If indeed he thinks along the line of what is best for the country, the whole approach towards Bersih would be very different.

He offered the use of a stadium, after The King came out with an advice for both sides to find an amicable solution. If only he has persisted in granting Bersih the use of a stadium in KL,  the whole perception towards him would be very different.

Alas, he backtracked and flip-flopped, probably because of the pressure mounted by police and the Home Minister, but as a leader he should have taken a firm stand. He should have stood by what he has promised.

That he has fialed in exerting leadership quality in the whole Bersih rally is in fact the cause of the drop of his ratings.

It would be wise for him to study the whole life story of Winston Churchill, who was a leader in every sense, and who exerted leadership in the grimmest of times.

Instead, we have a leader who is fond of flipflopping depending on which way the wind is blowing.

In conclusion, he has only himself to blame for the drastic drop of his popular ratings.

Dr Hsu, our politicians never admit their mistakes but to shift the blames to another party or just deny its existence. They will make up any excuse even to the extent of slapping their own face. One obvious example is KTK. He epitomes the worst of a typical Chinese scholars (faked) who will defend his action till the day he dies and think highly of himself as one who did everything right to protect a LARGER OBJECTIVE. But he can never explain what is the larger objective because it is just a MIRAGE attached to his brain.

In fact PM’s rating has been on the slide since the first day he took the premier from the sleepy head.He has been constantly riddled with mother of scandals,ie.lavish lifestyles, splashing nation’s coffer as if there is no more tomorrow, huge commisions involved hundred of millions,c4ed mongolian gal after sale and pussy service,flip-flopped policies and promises, taichi every wrongdoing to others,24million fatty rosy’s ring ect ect.The mishandling of the bersih2.0 is only of the self-contribution to his further fall in rating.By judging his weak characters there will be more of his undecisive and flip-flop characteristics that will pull him down further to a no point of return.

Agree to disagree tactics by Nazri exposed.
    Najib??…Why ….his lying …flip flopping…. are countless.
He is just a show dog in the Govt…that needs to do anything to win votes and 13th GE.
The more he talks..or trying to be too smart.fooling Malaysians….the more voters run away from BN.
This is the longest 13th GE ..”around the corner” I have witnessed any PM saying that.
And we know his one month promise to solved Teoh Beng Hock’s case..turned to years…and forgotten by him….yet he said.,,when he promises anything..he always keep his promises.
The day….he tried to fool Allah .swearing at a mosque..was the day….Allah takes sides….to wake Muslims up.

GE 13 is near and it is time politicians weak up from their indulgence and realize they have to rid themselves of all the stinks and filths of their indulgence and ‘come’ clean to the front stage looking like saints and angels.

This case is no different. So, shits role down hill and the poor guy who carried out the order now hold the shits in his hands. Whatever the explanation or story telling, it is line of sight accountability back to the top all the way.
It is his choice to sleep on the job but be accountable. It is his choice to listen to bad advices and not do his own thinking and be accountable. It is his choice not to pay attention to the nation’s reality and be accountable. But do not pass the shit down. That itself is a second plunder.

As far as rating goes, no problem. Malaysian has short memory, and easily impressed as no real pain has been inflicted in reality. So, spend some millions, sub contractor some big PR firms from USA ( we have plenty here for any magic show.), run some campaigns , more free food, even have chartered buses to ferry you back and forth and Malaysians will be impressed and rating will improved. Malaysia, the ferry land comes GE time.

GE13 will be the test for Malaysian voters, not the politicians.
