Kill the monkey to warn other monkeys and chickens

MACC has brought a corruption charge against an exMB. This MB stays in a house which is as big as a palace and is rumoured to be worth tens of millions.

I do not wish to go into the case since this is subjudice as the case will be tried in open court.

This is the second big one after a Tun was charged.

But what is important is not just to bring them to court. What is important is that MACC must be able to get  conviction in both these cases, and in cases that are to come.

It is important to nail big fishes so that the ikan billis can be warned. There is a Chinese saying that in order to warn the monkey we must kill the chicken. But the reverse is also true. We must kill the monkey in order to warn the chickens as well as other monkeys..

For the sake of future generations, I really hope that this case can bring a conviction and the palace-like house be confiscated if convicted.

Conviction is important because MACC’s credibility is at stake. If none of these cases can result in conviction, and all these big fishes are released back into the ocean, then a strong message will be sent to the chickens as well as the monkeys that it would be OK to be corrupted.

Let us just wait and see!!

    Just another sendiwara.

Look at the suspicious character of our AG as alleged by many bloggers substantiated with photos and kind of evidences. How could he merit to prosecute another when he is implicated with so much shits. Judiciary in Malaysia is just another branch of govt service meant for power struggle.

It is worthwhile for Najib to “kill” this ex-MB fella. BN can get votes for doing him in. If he is smart he got to make sure this corrupt fella remains in jail for the rest of his life. Failure to do so is a lost of opportunity.

This toyol guy is now useless to UMNO / BN ,so no problem to drag him to court and feeding him to the sharks. His political career is consider gone. Charging him only serve the purpose of pulling wool over our eyes. He will never be found guilty, like CYC said another sandiwara.Likewise with Mr.big fat Tun, his case will drag on and on until we become numb about it. If either fellas landed in jail then we can celebrate, until then it’s a non-event.

i am against any form of restriction on freedom of expression.

If they ban facebook, they will lose most of the votes from the young people.. To win votes, you must win the hearts and not by banning this and that..

When will they learn from their mistakes?

The “smart” guy calling this is a Dr Shahidan or something like that, AMNO supreme council member? With a doctorate some more…..I think some of the “tribes” in Peru or Latin America are smarter than this “as***” because the tribes are taught by intelligent UFO alien visitors in the past.

It is indeed amazing that our AG Patai took sooooooooolong to charge this bum. Perhaps hoping rakyat will forget the whole episode by playing with time. And who knows, this bum was given all the time in the world to tamper his case. This is how Bolehland acts on their cronies. If this bum is from the opposition, he will be dead standing, literally.
I bet my last cent, with the present bunch of “learned judiciary”, this arrogant, corrupted and racialistic “pendatang” will be found innocent eventually. As usual, not enough evidence, he did not break any Bolehland laws etc etc.. Case tutup. And there we go again.

what i am trying to say is that if there is no conviction, Big Brother will lose even more as people will be even more skeptical of the MACC and other institution.

Correction: “Kill the chicken to scare the monkey” sandiwara. An old chinese saying.Toyo is still not high enough in the hierachy to be deemed a “monkey” yet. There are bigger monkeys that will never be prosecuted no matter what.

Somewhere before I have posted a “kill the chicken to warn the monkey and the post was published in Malaysiakini as well.

In this case, i have purposely written it the other way round, kill the monkey to warn other monkeys, (which includes ministers and other MBs) and chickens (exco, division chiefs, civil servants).

It is meant to be so and i am sorry if it has resulted in any confusion among the readers.
