2 pieces of classical music

Today is a PH, and as such I will post something light and close to my heart.

What else but my eldest son’s latest piano recording. He is a nephrologist working in the States, and has recently bought a grand piano and recorded these 2 classical pieces.

The first one is Rachmaninoff’s piano concerto NO 2 part of first movement, the other one is one of Chopin’s etude.

while dr hsu playing his classic. his president is been asked to quit penang laision chairmanship… Umno is seeking the chairmanship of the Penang Barisan Nasional (BN) now held by Gerakan, saying it is necessary to strengthen the coalition’s position in the state.

Penang Umno Liaison Committee chairman Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said the request for the chairmanship was reasonable because Umno held all the seats won by the BN in the state in the last general election.

Umno holds 11 seats while the Pakatan pact of DAP, PKR and PAS, which forms the state government, holds the other 29 seats in the 40-seat state legislative assembly.

“Other (BN) component parties do not hold any (state) seat in Penang,” Dr Ahmad Zahid, who is an Umno vice-president, told reporters last night after chairing a meeting of the Penang Umno Liaison Committee, here.
gerakan dont have a seat anywhere now.homeless, begging at putrajaya…seemed koh and teng be squatting at gurney drive soon….these chinese really 1st class thick faced. i am wondering how the gerakan members can walk upright! are they going to let it happened..i called my uncle at keramat to put up a poster..”gerakan members, dont go next door!” pls check out xiao teng kopitiam ..647, keramat road

    Dr. Hsu,

I can read here that you are indeed a proud father of your son, Dr. Hsu junior. You deserve being a proud one and I believe your sons and daughters are proud of you as well.

Do they read your blog, I wonder? By the way, Dr. Hsu junior looks like you.

    Excellent, congratulations !!!

Yes, indeed I am proud of my children , jst as any father will be proud of theirs, no matter what jobs they have
, as long as they can become a good person who is able to answer their own conscience…

I am sure my children are proud of me as all children are proud of their parents, again not because of your station in life, but more because you are able to tell people that you can answer to your conscience and are able to sleep well at night..

Those are not the case of corrupted people. No matter how rich/’successful’ they are, I am sure some of thier posterity will not look up to them..(Successful means how much they succeeded in milking the country and the people)

When you are not being able to stand up to the other party, the party will be bullied left and right.

That is the message we are trying to send to the top leaders, and more and more members are voicng out along this line.. The undercurrents will get stronger…

In fact, recently after the AI sifting of suspension, more and more memebrs are seeing the merit of my argument that a third force is indeed the best course and the country needs a third force, as even RPK has himself advocatd. the waves will become bigger and stronger. The more UMNO suppresses Gerakan, the better is to my cause… UMNO by being more radical is going to help more members to see my arguments.

    Dr. Hsu,

I have the same belief as well. I can’t figure out why certain people can do thing without conscience …. and claim themselves as true believers of respective religions.

    Dr. Hsu,

Lately, “lukewarm” response in your forum. Why? Maybe no cilipadi adding to the hot and spicy, haha. But, quality comments are far better than rubbish ones.

Let me share with you here about my Malay friend’s wisdom. He told me he is not the ambitious type, not doing big business and want a carefree life. He told me he rather rent his land to his Chinese friend to plant fruit trees, work on it and do business. He told me if his Chinese friend can be rich by working on his land, he is happy too, and he deserved to be rich, but having headaches too.

Then, I asked him, why not he kicks his Chinese friend out from the rented land and take over his friend’s legacy. He replied, “Saya ada hati, ada conscience”. He prefer his life that way.

I salute this Malay friend of mine. Between him and Chinese friend, no “Malay Supremacy”.

The morale of this story, he told me, wealth does not fall from sky like what many Umnoputra think.

That is how my Malay friend built up his friendship with the Chinese friend.

He does not look I as outsider as well. He told me, why bother, we are human race.

Don’t know why Umno / BN politicians not think like my Malay friend. Monk, any idea?

One type of grain feeds hundreds types of personalities. I have no explanation except his up-bringing, the environment he grew up, wht his parents or grand parents taught him and not forgetting his sub-conscious (i.e. karma).

Even twins born almost same time can have different personalities though they same similar traits, likes and dislikes and physically intertwinned with the same destiny.

Those ultra bumis or Malays of the Lucifer type can be influenced by environment of greed, affluence, and wanting more to satisfy their craving and fantasies. I am only bull-shitting with my brain, so don’t have to believe me.

But the up-bringing and peers during the year of learning is important. There are upright people when they were young but turned crooked when getting older despite good up-briing.

You can never tell. There is no absolute in this world of diversity. Meaning not one reason or factors. But certainly one thing is certain: greed and jealousy are real emotions.

Your Malay friend is quite a rare species nowadays. You should build a museum for him!! Sorry, kidding.

So, Cilipadi, you gotta yourself a good friend.

One might say my Malay friends is silly, stupid or lazy, but to me, he is a wise one. Wiser than many politicians you know best, monk.

You know what, my Malay friend is staying in his land, a nice orchard, with his Chinese friend.

Malaysia can adopt this as a economy model, why politicking. Wasting time. See the mess now, hahahaha

The Penang mamak, why not like my friend? Monk, you got the answer.

What if Penang mamak is like my Malay friend, KTK, my Chinese friend? Good?

Good trusted friends are like gem. Rare and few in between. So treasure and appreciate.

Good ones bring you a rainbow and bad ones take you to hell.

Good ones lower your blood pressure, bad ones get you heart attack.

Good ones feed you durians and bad ones leave the shell to you and worse ones make you sweep the durian shells and seeds (forget the pulp) cos he has eaten all. haaaaa, haaaaa!!!

Gerakan has no moral right to hold on to the BN chairman potion in Penang. Gerakan had totally failed BN. It should have given up the position. KTK do not have the dignity to do this. KTK do not have even have the dignity to be back door minister after he lost in the election. This is cowardice in politics.
