Peel away the skin, we are all similar!

The old Horse is at it again. He mentioned in his writing that the majority race could become a minority race..read here.

Knowing that race is a sensitive issue, I do not know why he keeps harping on it, and keeps giving very provoking statements which will polarise the population even more.

UMNO  should realise that this is exactly the type of statement that has alienated the certain sections of the voters, beside of course the issue of governance and abuses and corruption.

i can boldly say that what he has predicted will not happen , given the differential growth rates of the majority and the minority race. the minority will become smaller and smaller in number, that is for sure, and the ongoing population census should be able to show this.

Anyway, I do not see the reason why we should worry which race has more number if we adopt a fair ad equitable policy for all. When everyone irrespective of race has a fair chance to succeed , then it really does not matter whether we are black, white, borwn or yellow. Peel away the skin, we are all similar!

Old horse knows very well the non Malay votes is no longer tangible hope for BN. So, the only hope is on Malay votes. Hence, he fans fire so that Malay will hate the opposition and at same time hopefully, to reignite some fear in some conservative non Malay, see if it translate into votes back to BN.

Its all politics lah. Go watch more Hindi and Tamil movies and u will understand how politics is played in India.

“Old horse” still think what works in 80s and 90s can still work in the Internet age. He is merely playing “race cards” wayang kulit. He is hoping it will work among the rural and less-informed crowd, that’s partly why M’sian broadband sucks – so that more people can stay IGNORANT.

He is 80+, still like attention and power so much – why can’t he be the ex-PM, Abdullah – just keep his mouth SHUT?

There is a thing called ‘wisdom’ and the dead horse has lost it. Its funny. I don’t like LKY. But you just have to marvel at his wisdom and how his smartness has done Spore a whole lot of good. the proof as they say is in the pudding. I was in Spore for a few days last month. That place is buzzing. The old horse on our side makes me cringe everytime he opens his mouth. It reveals how senile and how evil he really is. I hope he disappears sooner rather than later and allow us all to live in harmony and peace.

I remember in the 60s when i first visited Singapore, it was like my home town Penang or Kuala Lumpur, albeit larger with some higher (4 or 5 storey buildings). When i was studying there in the seventies, I could see the beginning of fantastic development there.
But you can see some resemblance between Singapore and many of the Malaysian cities.
Now it is like 2 different worlds.. Although our people like to say Singapore Malays are marginalised, if you look at them, they are much more savvy and worldly and of course capable of competing against the best in the world…

Our mess is because of the legacy of the Old Horse…Now vile and senile..

Like superman, this old useless horse is destroying his own legacy, another self made terminator.

But he will still have another legacy, this one written by maverick historians who will not be “content” generous to his devilish rule which is destroying everything.

Democracy is not a religion in this country he had said but he forgot that religion is democratic in essence.

Stupidity is not a handicap in politics.

Being part of the BN, the old horse knows very well that the party and the animal is galloping off the stage into the evening sun.

All these wayang kulits are to destract, deter and destroy the harmony of the nation so that the next government that inherits it will have more than hands full.

Therefore evil thoughts and intentions are the weaknesses of humans via supposedly-retired-politicians-who wants another go. Damn nuisance!

You people must have rocks in your brain to think that the pasture is greener at the other end.

You need local experience to get employed even if you have years of Malaysian experience otherwise you start as a fresh graduate.

You not only have to write and speak fluent English but higher productivity is expected or you will be considered a liabilty.

And if you are 40++, you will be discriminated due to your age because you are considered reaching your plateau in your productivity and prone to medical , family setbacks.

So, good luck to those who have and will be migrating as negative feedbacks never surface. Flowery praises on migration are common and regular in the web of their new experiences.

If we all agree that this old man sucks, what should we do whenever he opens his mouth to spit out venom?

Do we not realise that what he wants is the attention that such statements from him will generate? Unless that is exactly what we want to give him, I seriously think that we should choose to ignore him completely whenever he utters nonsense. Why dignify it with lengthy debate about it?

    Dear mykantree

    I respectfully disagree.

Remember what the Nazi Dr Josef Goebbels said?
Something like: you can tell big lies and get away with it. If you repeat a lie long enough, people will actually begin to believe it.

So, if the fascists in Malaysia keep repeating
race-baiting rubbish, they should be debunked and ridiculed. We need a Malaysian Voltaire!

I agree with Prof Phua that we should voice out.

Any lies told many times become truth, and perception is important in life, so we must not let him gte away with all the racist thigs, instead we should continuously voice out against racism and its advocates.

even in World Cup, you see players holding up big banner “say No to Racism”, it is very effective in cultivating imprints in young childre’s minds with this type of publicity….

It pays to be dishonest and crooks are handsomely rewarded in this HOLY LAND of OPPORTUNITY. Even party that swayed off their original idealism like GELAKAN still granted a small space at the altar which rightfully reserved for gods and revered personalities only.

Our political arena seems edge towards Taiwanese style where politics supersedes everything and the rakyats sucked in silence.

Mykantree, you are very perceptive saying the old horse wants attention to feed his large egoistic appetite. In fact at one of the BUM bloggers’ gathering he had said so during the tenure of the “sleepy goat-keeping PM.” It’s true that the more than 1 million visitors to his blog inflated his ego the size of the universe.

And you realize that publicity given to him has somewhat level off, not completely but not as much as he desire via portal news.

Cilipadi will agree that laws of morality doesn’t pay crooks, and just watch the last 100 days of these crooks, they will suffer from bedridden sores and agony only they themselves know and deserve. But they don’t die fast enough for a clean political environment.

Actually, many of Taiwan’s cabinet ministers are highly qualified. Many PhDs.

Lee Teng Hui himself was brilliant and had a PhD from Cornell University.

And what is the calibre of our Malaysian Cabinet?
One of the few Malaysian Ministers with a PhD even said that his PhD dissertation was “merely an academic exercise”!

It does not matter if u don’t have PhD. A fully cultured/developed common sense would enable an adult (even without PhD) to think critically and evaluate an issue in a fruitful manner than a PhD holder who think along rigid route in finding a solution to the same issue. Of course it would much better if one a hold a PhD could make use of his knowledge together with his well developed mind faculty.

    Dear CYC

    Of course!
Holding a PhD is just a sign that the person is intelligent and also persevered in obtaining the qualification.

Brilliant people like Lee Kuan Yew do not have PhDs. But I would have more confidence in a cabinet full of PhDs than a cabinet full of
    ministers who talk nonsense.

Furthermore, brains without integrity is a dangerous combination —-> Nazi propagandist Dr Joseph Goebbels, Khieu Samphan (PhD in economics and originator of the ultra radical idea of forcing the Cambodian people into the countryside and turning the country into a utopian agrarian nation)
