Theres no point in signing the petition. The Sultan has made up his mind.

The Sultan likes the MB Nizar but hate the guts of the DAP who are seen to be kurang ajar towards the royalty and malay customs

Take the simple issue of wearing songkok which the chinese have worn throughout, esp those working with the government. This they have made an issue of even in JB. There are many more nonsense I am sure those in in PKR and PAS know about.

Poor Nizar in the wrong company of DAP

    klm,
if Hee joins Gerakan, Gerakan is doomed . It will be suicidal.. I have despatched an email to some gerakan leaders on this.

There are only 2 elected VP left: Mah SIew Keong and Huan. Kohilan is an apppointed VP to take over the late DR Vijayaratnam’s place, and one more Chia Kwang Chai from Penang is appointed.

I think Mah has lot of wisdom and would not be the one to ask Hee to join Gerakan.

I was told that Hee’s defection was engineered by MCA – in spite of the public denial.

I suspect, MCA will be very glad to let Gerakan have Hee. It will get rid of of one competitor. One stone kill two birds.

If Gerakan really take Hee, I really will take my hat off to the strategist behind this scheme. This guy is really good. A master of the 36 Strategems.

Even though MCA engineered the defection of Hee, they still have to get rid of a collateral. MCA public denial meant they know the toxic nature of the collateral. She is radioactive.

(In a James Bond’s film, this will be an explosion in mid air)

Maybe Indonesia should invade the fake country called Malaysia, throw out the government and corrupted system including the monarchy, and call it the straits settlements of various races and religions from all over the world, especially Asia.

We would be more developed, diverse, strong and cosmo compared to Australia if the British had done a HK on us.

The current system, rules, constitution and rukun negara were just put in place by UMNO to prolong their (fake and manipulative concept of) Malay Elite dominance, which is in actuality only for UMNOputra dominance; and to allow their divide and conquer tactics and methods to fester and disunite.

Let nature takes its course. Empires come empires go is the past and present histories of this impemanent world. Those who are really wise can comprehend the essence of this Universe Truth., or William Shakespeare once said, ” Wise men are fools, fools are wise men.”
The incident of the betrayal of the Pakartan Rakyat ( PR ) elected assemblymen and woman has given an experience of wrongdoings for the PR inwhich they are fortunate not to have the ruling elected parliamentary canditates happen to them. Mistakes corrected in virtuous moral breed one’s trust and honesty.
Now the public has witnessed who is clean or dirty
in carrying out behind this greedy move.
Time has witnessed one of the holiest messenger of GOD who was betrayed and crucified by His own disciple. In the end evils battle evils.
The public must stay calm to be wise , and can now see very clearly who is clean or dirty. No matter what, honesty and true justice always win the respect of all in overturning evil.

Malaysia Boleh. Everything can do if Umno is there. Let say, Umno lost all seats contested in a GE, with the money they have, Umno can buy MPs or Aduns from PR and back to power again.

You Malaysian may think this is impossible, but after Perak coup, nothing is impossible to happen.

Your Najib is a good schemer. Wikipedia description on him is not so kind and yet he is soon to be your PM. Think about this, Najib will be even fiercer after that.

As a non-Malaysian, an outsider, when I get to know your country’s ‘Westminster’ democracy system, inherited from your colonial master.

At first, I thought both are the same which many Malaysians also think the same, but both are far different.

To UK, the monarchy only ONE, but to Malaysia, MANY. Each of these many Kings take turns to become King of Malaysia.

I am not good in geography, but I would think England is not much bigger than Malaysia, yet Malaysia has so many monarchy. Why? Can I say you people are more ‘ACCOMMODATIVE’ where you let many who want to be KING OF THEIR OWN RIGHTS to be KING?

You Malaysians think of this? For a peninsular which looks like a sweet potato can have so many Monarchy, wonderful isn’t it?

For ancient China that is so huge in size yet have Shi Huang Ti only.

Maybe you Malaysians can make comparative on this. Which is better system?

Let be sensible, rational and logical. Is PR really competence, accountable and transparency? Who started the game must really learn the lesson well?
BN and PR need to convince the people in the next GE who can do a much better job. What Perakian need is a better service oriented, creating job opportunities, getting more investors to Perak, infrastructure development, political stability, social development, racially balanced goverment service and etc. We don’t need demonstration. We don’t need political instabilities. Do we think PR is right all the time? Blame yourself and get back to the people in the next GE. PR have done their damage well. Life have to move on for the Perakians

1.Are we going against the tide of sentiments of the peopel?
    2. are we going against our own conscience?

Maybe I should add one more:

    3. Are we acting in the long term interest of the people and the country?

In 1999, when the 2 lims to MCA ( I was not a member yet), it almost did Gerakan in. So that time, all the leaders are against hopping,.. They came out with strong statements against hopping..

    Dr Hsu,

Hope you don’t mind if I reproduce part of what I wrote in my blog relating to this issue.

    N31 – Jelapang

Hee Yit Fong (DAP) – 12,219 : Win
    Sarasvathy A/P Muthu (Bebas) – 1,275 : Lost deposit
Loh Koi Pin (BN) – 5,512

    Total voters : 26,157
    Ballots rejected : 402
    Total ballots issued : 19,409
    Ballots not returned : 1
    Percentage turnout : 74.20%
    Majority : 6,707

I wonder what would happen if someone took the trouble to find 13,079 registered voters of Jelapang to sign a petition to HRH The Sultan of Perak stating that they no longer have confidence in Hee Yit Fong as their ADUN for Jelapang.

Would HRH ask all 13,079 Jelapang voters to see him and confirm their wish? Would HRH then ask Hee to resign failing which the seat becomes vacant?

To this layman, what Najib did to convince HRH and what I suggested above is the same ………. Is it not?

    Dr Hsu,

This is what I just told YB Liew Chin Tong and YB Jeff Ooi. BN may still have a chance yet because of stupid politics by PR! Hmmmmm!

    Dear YB,

Have you heard Anwar’s latest on the Perak crisis? He said Nizar will remain MB but will not sue.

I beg to disagree. This is stupid politics!

On the contrary, Nizar and the PR EXCO should resign BUT “under protest”! Then sue the sultan and the new BN administration that what happened was unconstitutional.

By resigning under protest, it shows that PR cares for the people of Perak and would not deprive them of a functional administration given the economic woes heading towards us. Moreover, it will show circumspect respect for HRH but will not accept his word as the last word since there is a higher authority in Malaysia’s democracy of a constitutional monarchy.

Until and unless, PR holds the high ground, BN will win eventually. Please do not let our own stupidity “still-born” this movement for a better democratic and new Malaysia!

    Come on PR, THINK!!!!!

(Doc, I think this country is full of stupid politicians. No hope for us la since smart ones like you won’t take a bigger role. Sorry for the undue pressure. I also regret not taking up politics earlier!)

    romerz,

From what I have observed in my few years in the party, decent people cannot hope to play a bigger role because the decent people are just not ruthless and shameless enough to adopt tactics to kill off own Sdr within the party.

I have written about how politics is being played.

there are some who will go to the extent of spreading false news that so and so takes ang Pow and so and so takes money from public and so on, without even having to produce evidence.

They will use unscrupulous methods to sink their own comrades.

So, in the party, whoever aspires to go up and whoever is not in the camp, will be sunk this way…

I , fortunately, do not aspire to any position, and being so, was quite immune to this sort of things, but even that there were atttempts to character assasinate me, by saying that i am extremist, I am obsessed and non team player and so on…

Would you believe that there was even an attempt to leave a voice message in my phone to spread false news hoping that I would clash with a certain leader (which I did not), and then telling the whole world that I taped it during meetings to character assasinate me…… Luckily I have saved the voice message and i can clearly be heard that there was a maxis voice telling that such a message is a voice message…

If you views are different, even if you are voicing out people’s views, you are a non team player.

Then there is such things as divide and rule. In every division and state, the top will encourage 2 factions to counter balance each other.

I am not involved in any faction, and i appeal directly to the members, many of them are very independent minded, and thus I was able to get elected to CC to voice out directly to the leaders.

Having said that, the eunuch politics played is much less now than before, a credit to KTK..And dirty politics is much leass than in other party.

And it has much less infighting compared to MCA and others….

And even DAP ad PKR are not immuned to this type of politics…

I suppose in Malaysia, such political culture is hard to change.. And how to get decent people into politics?

    romerz,

You can join politics to voice out, but remember, the first thing you learn is to read through the devious plot and to protect your own self.

By not linking with anyone, and by just being your straight self, and by knowing how to protect yourself by your ability to read about how politics is being played, you can be immune to a lot of character assasination.

Otherwise, you will be long gone even before you realise it….. That is the reality of politics, even in a supposedly decent party such as one in BN and one In opposition.

    Dr. Hsu

I say the same comment to you like the one I said to romerz.

And I say again. Malaysian political culture is not unique. Whether it is UMNO, MCA, Gerakan or PKR or DAP.

Politics is a bloody sport. It is a no hold bar fight. It is kill or get kill. If one dont have a strong survival instinct – a caveman instinct, then one don’t live very long. In ancient times it is literally one’s head. Today, one may be thrown out of the party, or go to jail on some trump up charges. (at least it is getting more civilised)

And it is my view decent people dont get anywhere. We just need a few people with drive, the ruthlessness to smash the competition, who crazed for power but with a vision for good, to be political leaders. There rest are just supporters.

And there are no guarantees that these leaders wont turn to the dark side of the force.
Remember Anakin in the Star Wars episodes. He was a smart, decent, lovable child that eventually turn into Darth Vader.

But it also take a few strong ruthless decent people like the Jedi to turn the world to the good side.

The Ying and Yang of life.

But people like you can give inspiration to people who can take up arms. So keep plugging.

What a disheartened scenario I got from you guys. Malaysian politics is so dirty?

But, be fair, give views from your own parties perspective as somebody said “perception is dangerous”.

DAP & PAS are not so dirty as Umno (dirtiest)-as per Perak coup,

    MIC(dirtiest)-if not, no Hindraf

    Gerakan (dirtier)-lobby for Hee?

    MCA (dirtier)-play with Umno

Revisited RPK’s Malaysia Today after so long absence. RPK is wisest. Please learn from him guys.

“About a week ago, a few of us sat down to discuss the impending collapse of the Perak government. It was suggested we speak to the Pakatan Rakyat leaders, which we did. Our recommendation was that they dissolve the Perak State Assembly and hold fresh state elections while Pakatan Rakyat still has the majority in the Assembly. Once Pakatan Rakyat has lost that majority it will be too late. No way will the Sultan agree to the request to dissolve the Perak State Assembly once you no longer command the majority in the Assembly.

But the Pakatan Rakyat leaders would not listen. They still have things under control, they remarked. We did not think so and we told them this. But who are we to ‘teach grandmothers how to suck eggs’, as Malaysians would say? If we are so smart then how come they, and not us, are the party leaders. We would be sitting in their chairs, instead, if we are cleverer than them. Politicians do not think much of you if you do not hold any party positions. They only respect those who hold positions in political parties and government, not those outside mainstream politics.

Everyone is an expert on hindsight. Only good leaders have foresight. And our leaders lack just that, foresight. They are very clever when it comes to reacting to situations. But they know nothing about pre-empting. Why react, especially when it is too late? You must be able to pre-empt before it is too late to do anything. This is what our leaders lack, the skill to pre-empt.”

RPK is the man. My salute to him.

cilipadi. Finally, you realised that DAP, PKR and maybe less PAS, are pigheaded. I keep mentioning that these people, especially the Ngeh and Nga cousins are arrogant. They are clones of Lim Kit Siang. These people are not used to commanding troops to battle. They don’t seek counsel. They are just opposition leaders. They cannot win battles and war.

For the sake of all of us, I hope they learn from this debacle.

I was watching the history channel on Boudica the Warrior Queen. According to accounts, She lead an army of 200 thousand of Celts clans against a well armed and highly disciplined Roman army of over 2,000 in a final battle. And in a battle ground chosen by the Roman general. And she lost the battle.

You cannot win without well trained and disciplined commanders and soldiers. And well prepared battle plan.

    klm,

True enough. PR still have a lot to learn if they want to outdone BN. What more with police and federal resources at their disposal.

I would think Malaysian politicians of both divides need to go back to morality lesson, especially those in Umno and BN.

Anyway, they may not buy my ideas as an outsider, even some of the Gerakan members here. Very sad indeed.

    cilipadi,

Yes, PR has a lot to learn. But do the leaders want to learn. Time is not on their side. They have wasted almost a year working up the takeover frenzy.

Kapal Singh has his point. But these people think him as mad and ignored him. I can feel his frustration.

Looks like RPK is feeling the same way too. They have not calculated all possibilities and take preemptive actions.

    As Sun Tze said

“Now the general who wins a battle makes many
calculations in his temple ere the battle is fought.
The general who loses a battle makes but few
calculations beforehand. Thus do many calculations lead to victory, and few calculations to defeat:
how much more no calculation at all! It is by attention to this point that I can foresee who is likely to win or lose.

If you have no money to buy Camry, you can exchange your dignity for a Camry.

After you got Camry and money, you want to buy back your “sold dignity”, can or cannot?

I am a proud to be a Muslims Malay Javanese decendent when my ancestors great great great grandfather fought the Dutch in the late 19th century. He would return occasionaly to the
land called Java to face the Dutch although with bow & arrows.

Thats the difference between what i m now being a Malaysian having to know how my ancestors bloodshed fought the whites compare to those
who migrated into Malaysia only in the name
    of TRADING.

Thank you Dr Hsu for placing such petition online
    to the Sultan of Perak.

The Sultan of Perak & the royalty from Perak family are the decendents from Melayu Siak.
At one time in this Malay archipelago, once existed “Empayar Siak”.
Also existed at one time “Empayar Jawa” stretched frm the land of Java upwards into the the land of the elephants.
These many empires has left distinct identification amongst the Malays in the Malay Archipelago, Melayu Jawa, Melayu Siak, Melayu Bugis, Melayu Acheh, Melayu Sulawesi, Melayu Siam, etc. As you can see Malay features resembles similiarities within this Malay archipelago.

    INDIAN MUSLIMS ARE NOT MALAYS.
Having Msian constitution to include the Indian Muslims as Melayu was the FIRST LIE to begin
with for Tanah Melayu later names Malaysia.
LIE after LIE after LIE after LIE until 2009.

My concern with your sincere petition is the
multibillion dollar double trekking project awarded to Gamuda.
    Who owns Gamuda?
Who sits in the directorship of Gamuda?
    Who awarded Gamuda?

Good Luck, we pray God shed us some light.

I m worried past week since the fall of Perak.
This government is moving into the era so similiar to the Shah of Iran.

After 51years of independence, Bee-End has evolved into the Shah of Iran. Must I exclude
    Gerakan from Bee-End?

The party components are so silence since GE2008. Are you guys not advising UMNO?
    or is UMNO beyond listening?

My concern is Bee-End is similiar to the Shah
of Iran. Is ballot boxes applicable here 2012, 2017, 2022? or a a mass revolution?

BN=Bee-End=UMNO is at par Shah Iran adminstration from what we see day to day.

If you have the opportunity, please visit Iran.

Shah Iran and cronies slept on pillows & beds stuffed with the finest bird feathers, faucets in gold & silver, so all the cutlery sets in gold and silver trimming, mansions with swimming pools…..i hope our Govt dont path towards this wealthy-affluent sickening lifestyle like Shah Iran and this cronies.

BUT as you can see the top UMNO elite are already this way…look at their mansions, their cars…the gap between the rich & the poor widens today in Malaysia and so was during Shah’s reign.

Shah Iran administration is not a democratic one although potrayed one to the ourside world.
It was a govt of force, suppresse, law to into their hands, corruption, wealth within the crony elites,…all-everything Shah Iran did to please the white master called USA.

However, it all came to an abrupt end in just
    one nite.

Mayhap Malaysia will come to such abrupt end like Shah Iran’s adminstration one day.

Iran since Ayatollah Khomeini is never likened by USA. So what? USA must learn to respect other country’s way of administering its own.

As I have said before USA pokes its nose into
all countries affairs in the world, mess up
other people’s backyard but never its own.

In Malaysia’s scenario, its better to have a “rakyats revolution” rather than what had happened in Iraq, a military USA intervention.
