Heed the advice and vote him out

One funny thing in the current Sarawak State election is that both the top leaders  of BN and Opposition agree on one important thing: that the Chief Minister, the present day White (Hair) Rajah  of Sarawak must go.

The opposition wants him out to take advantage of the dislike of the urban Sarawakians of White Hair.

BN top leaders want him out because he has fast become a liability in the fixed deposit state. The fixed deposit may not be so safe because of the White Hair’s  alleged pilfering into the fixed deposits.

But common to many long staying leaders, despite all the calls asking him to step down, and despite the pressure  exerted on him by no less a person than PM himself, Peh Mou (White Hair) wants to stay on for a few more  years, using the euphemism that he will put in a succession plan once he gets re-elected.

Since both BN and opposition agree that he should be out, then i think the voters, whether they are supporters of BN or opposition, should take heed of the signals given by both sides, and vote White Hair out accordingly.

This is just logic. Why wait for another 2 years since even PM wants him to go? Making sure he goes now would be a better bet!

After all, those who vote him out will be doing a favour not only to themselves but to PM and BN too.

On another point, I was unable to access Malaysiakini website yesterday, and I understand that it must be the work of cyber troopers attcking their sites. This is to deny people from accessing news and opinion that may be unfavourable to the power that be.

Even in some of the blogs, you can see that certain person is actually cyber trooper assigned to do certain work for the power to be.

Freedom of expressing opinion and freedom to access information is everyone’s basic right..The attack shows that the power that be is really worried about the State election.. But until the last minute, you can never tell how the people are going to vote.

One task at a time perhaps. We shall cross the bridge when we come to it. The immediate task is to have at least one third of seats so as to have a better check and balance. Anything more will be bonus.

The bridge will not be too far away unless they lose the state. Then perhaps they will move the bridge further downstream and we shall only cross it in a year or 2.

If they maintain their 2/3 majority, then we will be crossing the bridge probably in June or later half of this year.

Doc, I m getting impatient when I still see KTK around smiling while witnessing the presentation of approval for a church in WP. Mind u, they have waited for donkey years for the approval. This fake scholar also failed to secure the approval for PuZhao temple in Kluang for 20 odd years. It was recently approved with stupid conditions attached. YBAM has accepted it with a heavy heart because two of “BIG and SINCEREST” buddhists namely KTK and OKC were just puppets and sing glorious stanzas in front of UMNO and betrayed their own fellow buddhists. Its a sin to bad mouth other according to Buddha teaching but I am ready to bear the consequences in order to make everyone aware the what kind mask are these politicians put on while preaching. When peh moh is out make sure this fake scholar is out too.

    Doc,

I was in Sarawak a few times since 90s and i know how the chinese feel about this white hair guy. Since mahathir’s time already he wanted him out, then abdullah time but i believe this time he will be out before next GE. he’s already 76, how long can he stay?

RPK revelation last night is an eye opener! I wrote a number of time that he wrote fiction. The fact that he fled the country after challenging police to come catch him and that he will expose everything in court with his ‘evidents’ but fled before being caught speak a lot! That’s why i say not everything he or any opposition says is gospel truth. We need to check the facts and consider carefully and not just play a cheer leader role!

This time the election in sarawak is the most interesting one. I believe Iban votes will decide everything. The fact that Najib meet the church leaders and how all the church umbrella union play out the issue is very smart. I believe in Najib and i believe he will meet all religious leaders as he promise and i strongly believe we will have more and better religious freedom. Again only time will tell and to what extend!

    Doc,

Coming to RPK issue, I just has a feeling to write about Anwar’s sodomy case.

Like all of us here, until today i cannot bring myself to believe he did it, no matter how much i wanted simply because it doesn’t make any sense.

But one thing i could understand is that why he seek assylum in Turkey embassy and shiver for 2-3 days in the hotel he hide while all the SD were sign by all his aides. That i cannot understand.

Anwar Ibrahim shiver for 2-3 days, not just any guy on the road. What do you think as a practising doctor of this?

Frankly speaking, This puzzle always haunt me to think otherwise!

A typical opportunist is here to preach and praise the current power stakeholder and condemn the fading old star. The current PM is tainted with so many allegations yet some choose to be enslaved by his showmanship simply because the urge to stand at the same side of the power stakeholders and fear of losing its elite status. This is a tragedy of the day.

If you have followed this blog for a few years, you might have come across many times that i have written, that I have lots of misgivings about Anwar, and that have heard lots of stories about him when he was the DPM..

But looking at the bigger picture, , I have also wrote that he remains the hope for the emergence of a 2 party system. He is about the only one person in the country who can galvanise the opposition into providing the 2nd front.

A 2 party system where both sides are more or less equal would be good for the rakyat.(and i think as a wise man, you will agree to that).

Yes, I was advocating that Gerakan came out as a small third force then, but it will still be a 2 big party system, like UK, with the small third force playing the watchdog , providing and the pivotal tilt ( to whichever side that practices our ideology) in case of a tie. It was few years ago. Now it is too late for Gerakan to come out. Anyway, what happens to SUPP this weekend will be a good indicator for Gerakan’s fate..

Despite all his negative things, Anwar remains the only one that can force change in the country. If PR wins, there will be change. If UMNO wins with a strong opposition in Parliament, UMNO will be forced to change too (like the last few years, they are forced to outsourced their racist part to NGOs, and come out with certain ETP).. Anwar is the person providing that HOPE for change, despite my personal misgivings of him..

I have written many times on this, in many of the comments and posts in this blogs.. too numerous to keep track… more than 1200 posts now.
    ………..
As for RPK, you must understand that he is under tremendous pressure, being a run-away in UK..

I told my wife last year, and that was last year, that i would not be surprised to see RPK retracts some of his accusations, in order to pave the way to come home.. In politics, i have seen enough to know that this thing happens.

Even though I do not condo horsetrading and bargaining in politics, being a person walking near to the power of corridor once makes me realise that this thing can happen… Being an exile makes you homesick, especially when you have relatives and children still in here.

    Thank you kind Doc Hsu.
    I am most relieved.
Now I can post in your blog with a free mind.
And what I predicted about RPK.. all came true.
The problem is many commentators do not follow events from the start…say some 5 years ago…and know RPK well.
The biggest problem of Anwar Ibrahim was taking no advises from anyone..including from.. Karpal Singh….about Zaid Ibrahim.
He has to learn from the hard ways.
Once again….Dr.Hsu….believe me…. I value our friendship all these years…with no selfish ulterior motives…but find it very difficult to to get righteous and noble blogger friends..like you.

I am sure i am in that category now..

We are able to speak without fear or favour because we are financially independent. That is why Confucius always stressed the sequence of ” first strengthening/improving oneself, then ensure family has enough to remain in harmony, then only a person should come out to serve the nation..

And in Malaysia..I have waited for a long long time…to hope to live long enough to see Malaysians are free from the greatest evil… Mahathir’s Government…..under his new UMNO B.
It is Mahathir that made Malaysia upside down for his own evil deeds.
The biggest sin he committed is keep bullshitting the Muslims.
He knows he is half cast.
Alot of Malays know he is half cast…yet so many millions supported him…out of greed for money.
Now millions have left him…after realizing the have been used.
Right now….it is the Dyaks….Ibans and all orang Asli in Sarawak to wake up…to know how filthy rich Taib Mahmud is and how poor they are and why.
I think many..sleeping in the past have been awakened by DAP rockets…strapped onto Hornbills…and Sarawak Muslims do believe in Anwar Ibrahim.
Najib’s …wheeling and dealing and transformation idea do not work anymore. Tupperwares …dinners are cheap…but free ..why not just take them?

Nowadays, some of the so-called youth leaders do not even have a good paying job, and they join in the hope that one day they can get something back from being somebody..

One young man i know in the party is quite well of, a dentist by profession, and he is using his money to buy the secretariat staffs, and even the service centre staff of a certain kawasan.

I can’t help asking myself, why is he doing this? it must be that he has some plan to be someone big and then when he is someone big, he can recoup many times that he spend.. This type is potentially the type that would abuse power and become corrupted.

But that is about choosing the right wife.
Concerning politics…there is no such thing as a wise politician in Malaysia….as we have never experienced a united Malaysian Malaysia at all.
It is still a period FOR or AGAINST ..like in a war.
It is enemy or a supporter.
Najib have declared all not supporting him are traitors. .and he will defend PutraJaya with his life…as if PutraJaya is left by his grandfather
    for him forever.
What is there to understand or not understand.
Declare FOR or AGAINST and fire on.
Hornbills strapped up with DAP rockets are firing at will in Sarawak at enemies of that State. Commander Anwar is directing the whole State operation. General Lim Guan Eng and Lim Kit Siang are attacking all urban areas.

    Doc,

I totally agree with ur view which i would like to say is also my view and my stand. The only diff i can see is maybe you hope PR can rule one day but I just hope they will just remain as strong opposition(for this role i treasure and thank them) but i just cannot see how they can possible rule this nation without risking the nation into a lot of possible bad outcome and trouble.

I believe DAP and PAS and even PKR leaders knew well but they just don’t want to talk about it and face it until they finally come to power but by then we, the rakyat will be the guinea pigs to be tested upon.

I still believe and prefer transformation then reformation. To all christian, Bible never teaches and encourage reformation(in fact is not there – maybe in history only Martin Luther reformation) but instead is full of example and teaching of tranformation of soul and spirit.

The second part of tonight RPK interview stresses this. RPK despite all odd, a figure to be respected at least for his view and insight into many things. I think, by now people will think he is definately ‘bought over’ but i feel it is not so simple but i definately agree with ur point about him being lonely and miss his family.

Anyway, I believe God knows the best and if he loves this nation and its people, he knows what the best for us and we just have to accept his will and choice and in due time he will help us to understand….

What ETP are we talking about in Bolehland when the agencies responsible to set the motion of transformation themselves did not even know exactly what to be done. I have recently attended a dialogue session between certain ministry and certain industry and the joke is the captain of the industry was in the invited list and as usual they just present a nicely powerpoint slide show depicting all those glorious information that everyone already know, but nothing on the transformation path.

    Monsterball, Doc,

No one should afraid of change, in fact everyone should change or transform for betterment.

I come again to RPK words last night, he pointed out the problems that PR is facing and bigger problems they will face if they were to rule beside my usual question of islamic state issue.

Many people to me, when looking at isssue are too simple and naive. They listen to one or two aspect. Change – a great word but change to what? Ok change for something better – but can you deliver and how will you deliver?

The record we can see today in 4 PR rule states – 3 different rulings apply! In Kelantan and kedah, where the Malay are the majority PAS style apply- Chinese suffer! Penang – chinese style apply and Malay suffer and Selangor – mix- BN style apply(more or less). What is this? 3 malaysia !!!!

Policies are not clear as pointed out by RPK. No clear leadership-DSAI weakness. Selective critism and openness applied-double standard. Shadow cabinet? etc etc

My question is can PR or is PR ready to rule?

What I see is this – PR promise a lot but have they deliver? They always give the same excuse – only when they take over federal. Ok if then, how can you promise sarawakians so many promises in this state election? Now they still make the same promises to sarawakians knowing they cannot deliver and will give the same excuse again to them if they win!!! How many promises made in Penang and Selangor or kedah are fulfilled? Especially in the areas involve money. Is not wrong for DPM to say they just tabur janji janji manis which they cannot deliver? Anyway money politic too applied for PR! same strategy – diff is one give and another promise

To me, it is better they play a good opposition role and give clear policy and clear plan rather than just making promises which we know they can deliver – country policy and how they will implement it and show that in the states they rule. At the moment, i just don’t see that and I doubt PR can deliver!!!

How old is this wise guy?
He has doubts…..yet he keep on pointing PR is not ready yet….this and that.
    He is insulting PR governance.
He totally ignored the progress made in Penang and Selangor.
And Perak was hijacked by Najib and Rosmah.. with the help of a royalty…he ignored.

He totally ignored no more corruptions with good news to all residents in those States.
This wise guy is no doubt a BN die hard supporter…come here to teach grandfathers how to suck eggs.

Why PR is doing that now….and exposing so much corruptions and murders…double standards..so much so more and more Malaysians are accepting PR to govern the country……after 13th GE….yet he does not know.
I guess he knows that too…and therefore….why change? Let UMNO B govern forever and PR be the watch dog……Is that it….wise one?

Sorry for the double mistake above

Suddenly I just feel like sharing from biblecal point of view these two words – transformation and reformation – 2 huge words

First, i want to say this – Bible is all about transformation and nothing about reformation or revolution

For the first 15 century until Luther’s reformation, church is one and only one – Chatolic church but very very corrupt and evil at that time but the church is one – fulfilling the teaching of Ep. 4 “one church”. Luther had no intention to break the chatolic church at first but was trying to reform from within but one thing lead to another, it slit the church into two – chatolic and prostestant which futher split to over 100,000 thousand churches today in the whole world if include all the individual small churches, an effort which cause the split of church and the ”one church” truth is lost forever. The one church is as important as one God, one Lord and one spirit and also one faith and baptism to christians. The only oneness we, christians don’t have today!!!

I dare to say there is no element of revolution or revolution spirit in the bible, just transformation – a gradual life process. Bible ask us to pray for country leaders positively ( i believe that the spirit of the teaching) so that we can lives in peace and harmony as well as to practise our faith. How other will interprete that up to him and his concious. If fact, in the spirit of the bible, politic and church affair should not be link unlike Islam and for that, sarawak churches leaders got it right.

CFM is quite quiet now, is CCM youth that make some noices since the 10 points solutions because methodist where most DAP leaders belong is a direct member of CCM. I believe they are the one behind and i hope they know what they are doing – for the benefit of the church or themselves as politicians!

Today, since reformation every church interprete the ‘one church’ truth as to their church as the true one church in the bible. The sin which i believe all christians has to bear till that day – a truth which i believe can never be recovered back till He comes back was done and committed as the result of Luther’s good intention to reform the church!!!!

That’s why Bible is always about transformation by the divine life and making peace with one another. Not breakaway if cannot get along which mistake most christians make today. To set up a church under any name is as easy as setting up a business but do they realise they are causing another division to the body of christ?

Not get me wrong – I too find joy with the release and ability to print BM bible locally. My church BM bible for ur knowledge was printed in England by Cambridge University press where no Malaysian Publisher is stamp on it. I still have 5 to 10 copies with me today.

But to live in the world…yes the more money you have…the better chance of an earthly life is assured.
Bill Gates earned every cent legally.
UMNO B millionaires are rouges and thieves.
Yes these UMNO B crooks can go around the world and spend like royalties…like Bill Gate.
But deep inside….the whole world knows the differences between Bill Gate and Mahathir.

Never in the history of this nation, Sarawak has gained so much of attention from within and abroad. Many of the news are generated from within the state and hence also attracts media attention from abroad. All eyes are on this horn-bill state as the people cast their votes in the State Election tomorrow.

Candidates from both side of the political divide, are still clamouring for the last pitch to garner votes for their teams; pointing fingers, warring in cyberspace, positioning at pointed posters, spying with recording devices, and updating the voters with twinkling tweets, and facing the masses with facts and figures in their Facebook. It is truly of time of decision and destiny for the people of Sarawak and the nation as a whole. Even the entire Purtrajaya team encamped here to render support to the run-up to the election.

Who will the people vote in or vote out? They have already decided whom to vote for and will carry out their decision tomorrow.
Come rain or shine, the people should come out in droves to exercise their voting right for the next State government. All the parties have done their part in convincing the people. Now is the time to let the people decide.

Wise man lost himself in the forest of words he created for self confusion and self denial. Almighty could not save him as an enslaved mind is a prisoner of his own creation.

What has BN delivered for the past 50 years with the abundant resources available? Why are our per capita income so much lower than HK , S Korea, and Singapore which were once on par or lower than us ? Was this a misconception due to our ignorance ? With so many half past senior officers in the govt agencies, we are but a laughing stock to world rather than gaining admiration. The ETP lab is cooking up feel good stories. Years ago we tried to limit local banks to 10 but in the process we issued more Islamic bank licenses to foreigners. So, it is back to square one. We wanted to transform our education system, so allowed more colleges/universities but in the process we only attracted students of poor quality. This resulted substandard degrees flood the market and is non value added to the economy. The example can continue nut it will only make us sick to read on.

Don’t fall in sleep while trying to convince people that u really belongs to elite group with integrity and wisdom like KTK. Its disgusting.

I think the opposition may be able to get one third of the seats in Sarawak..

Denying two third is very important. If BN loses many seats but still retain 2/3 majority, gerrymandering will rear its ugly head, and many seats will be redrawn according to the voting patterns, to consolidate power.

So Sarawakians must do themselves a favour to deny BN of a 2/3 majority..

I predict that after this election, UMNO will cross over to Sarawak, so will MCA.. Sarawakian politics will be changed forever. So in order to protect the indegenious people of Sarawak, the Dayaks and Ibans, it must deny BN a two third majority in order not to go the way of Sabah, where Kadazans have been marginalised.

Sarawakians must remember that a dying dinosaur will still have strength stronger than an elephant, and so it must go for the overkill, (by overkill, i set the target at more than one third of seats), otherwise, the next round it will even be more difficult.

Question for blog readers: Who said the following?

“The extent of the power of money is the extent of my power. Money’s properties are my – the possessor’s – properties and essential powers. Thus, what I am and am capable of is by no means determined by my individuality. I am ugly, but I can buy for myself the most beautiful of women. Therefore I am not ugly, for the effect of ugliness – its deterrent power – is nullified by money. I, according to my individual characteristics, am lame, but money furnishes me with twenty-four feet. Therefore I am not lame. I am bad, dishonest, unscrupulous, stupid; but money is honoured, and hence its possessor. Money is the supreme good, therefore its possessor is good. Money, besides, saves me the trouble of being dishonest: I am therefore presumed honest. I am brainless, but money is the real brain of all things and how then should its possessor be brainless? Besides, he can buy clever people for himself, and is he who has power over the clever not more clever than the clever? Do not I, who thanks to money am capable of all that the human heart longs for, possess all human capacities? Does not my money, therefore, transform all my incapacities into their contrary?”

Answer: Our old friend Karl Marx

    Karl Marx is wrong.

Money cannot buy everything and everyone.
    M0ney cannot buy true respect.
Money cannot buy the incorruptible (heard of “Robespierre the Incorruptible”?)

UMNO/BN fail to understand this too.

Now it is revealed by Haris Ibrahim..that the interview with RPK tape released was done in Febuary.
Why did BN released it during Sarawak State election period?
As you can see ……how cunning UMNO B can be.
Najib thanking RPK …showed he is behind time or ill advised.
Can you imagine a Commander not knowing …latest or stale news?
It is a fact….Najib is a show dog….not really in control…and what a show dog he has become …thanking RPK…two months later.

In the final countdown for the few hours left…before Sarawakians go to vote tomorrow….the denying of 2/3 majority is…no doubt about it.
The winning to take over Sarawak is not unrealistic to think about.
Whatever it is…the swing of votes against Taib’s leadership is massive and huge.

We know what BN/UMNO stands for and have taste their form of government for 50 years. Will UMNO change when cash is the KING? Even when UMNO lost the federal 2/3, has UMNO improve the government? What reforms they have carried out? Our industries are still the same 20 years before based in the 1980s. Our education is failing when one doubt the quality of the graduates and have the household income increase?

We need 2 party system now so that both sides will improve their governing performance in the Government.

If we do not bring the change of Government, then we will be still talking like in the kopi tiam. Otherwise we amuse and entertain ourselves by bring backing UMNO/BN into power so that we can spend our time talking how bad and incompetent they are while we allow our children and grandchildren to migrate just like our Dr here.

7 hours from now…Sarawakians go to the polls.
For the first time in the history of Sarawak State Election…tens of thousands treated oppositions like Rock Stars…smiling and attending all the rallies in full houses.
Useless to put out details BN’s sickening tactics to hampered PR rallies.
Raja Petra speech was revealed to be taped in Febuary…2 months ago.
A one hour speech cut to 10 minutes….to give half truths and false information to help boost up BN votes.
What kind of good government will do that…..unless in very desperate needs to fool Sarawakians with no shame at all.
The truths will be revealed whether the massive support for PR will turn to votes of just out of curiosity ..as claimed by DPM.
It is unlikely DPM is correct with so many dirty tactics to frustrate RP ans Sarawakians for peaceful rallies.
    The die is cast.
Sarawakians want to throw White Hair government out.

I think Sarawak will be like Penang….a tsunami sweeping away all the dirt and filth and a change of government be a vast majority for a RP government..to get rid of corruptions and wake up to know..Sarawak is one of the riches State in Malaysia ..made poor by rouges and thieves.
Once they get the experiences and understand like Penang folks….they will never support BN ever again.
Another reason…Sarawakins like all Malaysians never had a choice until 12 the GE.
Better late than never…and the lateness turned to be a blessing in disguise .as Sarawakians became the forerunners for change in Govt..by all Malaysians at the 13th GE.
If one have a sincere truthful prayer for all Malaysians..it will be answered…even though …God does not take sides in politics..but God do care for the sick…helpless and misguided souls….and there thousands in Sarawak today…all misguided and fooled by rouges and thieves for 30 years.
With the presence of the two biggest thieves…Mahathir and Tiab who actually cannot see eye to eye with each other….buried the hatchet..holding hands like two long lost brothers…is the best comedy play in town today.

If Sabahan n Sarawakian had vote wisely much earlier or had enough determination to be independent, Sabah n Sarawak could be as rich as Brunei today or at least be the 2 richest states in Malaysia !!
